Side by side comparison of Dandi Duo (arriving in December from @ModaFabrics) with Dandi Annie, the original group of my dandelion friends! The palette follows the same basic grouping with some lighter shades and a little bit cooler in some greens. The grays are a very close match and I really enjoy how the pink version is a flip of the original flip with lighter color to the background now and the darker pink for the big circles. New coordinates have drawn paisly, little leaves, dandi toile, seedlings, cross stitch lines and little drawn ditties. Guess what? Christmas is coming. ​​​​​​​​​ JK! We still have about 6 months until Christmas, so it's a good thing that Holidays at Home by @DebStrain is arriving in shops now. Get working on those holiday projects and have them completed in time to give and share in December. (I don't know about you, but I'm kind of slow to finish a quilt and 6 months goes by faster than you realize!) "When the snow is falling, our woods become covered in white, with touches of green, brown and black. During these times, it is so special to see the different types of winter birds that come to visit. The brilliant red cardinal is easy to spot and every once in a while, we are able to catch a glimpse of sweet little chickadees twittering amongst the branches. They are certainly my favorite birds to paint and it is a genuine treat to see them near our home! Holidays At Home features both of these beloved birds, along with winter homes and the sentiments our family feels about HOME. Just like our woods, in winter, this collection is filled with winter greenery, pinecones, snow, birds and homes, all in greens, whites, grey, black and a touch of red.
