@vegangrocerystoreau’s Vegan Day Out makes its long-awaited return this weekend! Running 10.30am-4.30pm Saturday and Sunday, it’s a celebration of everything vegan and amazing in Fitzroy! 🗺 Get your Vegan Day Out Map at the Vegan Grocery Store (124 Johnston St, Fitzroy) with a $5 donation to @edgarsmission. The map is loaded with vouchers for vegan discounts, sales and cheap eats all around Fitzroy 😋 Vegan Grocery Store will have free tastings, samples and hundreds of discounted products. 🌱😋🌱😋🌱

Last weekend we visited friends of @bigveganmarket, @littlemylkbar, right near Aberfeldie Park on the Maribyrnong River. In addition to toasties, smoothies, coffee and sweet treats, they’re serving up pies made by another friend of BVM, @noomoofoods! Get on down there for some delicious vegan food, 9am - 3pm Saturday and Sunday. 🌱😋🌱😋🌱

ICYMI, Footscray just got a new vegan bar! @haillilithfootscray opened last week and we made our way there last night. Both the cocktails and food are impressive! From the food menu we ordered Baked Gnocchi, Spicy Wings, Tomato and Blackened Cucumber and Saltbush Focaccia and Chocolate Mousse Tart for dessert. From the cocktail menu we got Hail Lilith and Blood Moon. They can also make cocktails on request so we got an Amaretto Sour too. Stopped in at one of our favourites, Huong Viet - Vietnamese Vegan Cuisine in Footscray, last week. We had Combination Broken Rice (Com Täm Suòn Bi Chá Trúng) And Hai Nam Chicken Rice (Com Gà Hai Nam). A delight as always! 🌱😋🌱😋🌱

Earlier in the year I was lucky enough to be given a voucher from my very good friends for a milestone birthday to @atticamelbourne in Ripponlea. It wasn’t just impeccable dining, it was an experience. Last night we visited The Wilds at Sidney Myer Music Bowl as part of @rising.melbourne. Amongst the inflatable sculptures, towering projections and mind-expanding soundscapes, we headed to @smithanddaughters for pie floaters, served in a reusable bowl from our mates at @greenmyplate and checked out the @up_banking Up High Bar. Rising runs until Sunday 19th of June. 🌱🖤🌱🖤🌱

A recent feast at all vegan favourite @oliviaspringcafe in Moonee Ponds. We can never go past Com Tâm and also got Bánh Mi and Rice Paper Rolls. If you’ve never been, you absolutely must add them to your list! 🌱😋🌱😋🌱

We don’t want to alarm you, but Footscray is getting a vegan bar! @haillilithfootscray is opening very soon! Not only will they be offering good booze and good times, they will also be offering up a decadent menu that will include bar snacks, mains and desserts. 🌱🥃🌱🥦🌱

Well, that was a HUGE weekend!! We hope all our attendees enjoyed Big Vegan Market.
