We created a very special version of the BMW X6 M in the form of a wide-body version presented here, called the MHX6 700 Gold Edition 01/01. The owner of this vehicle wanted something very special and extravagant to express maximum individuality and attract the greatest possible attention with his SUV coupé. For maximum exclusivity, luminous gold flakes were also incorporated in the body kit. This applies to all kit components: from the radiator grille kidneys and the partially painted bonnet with GTR air outlets to the front spoiler, the wheel arch extensions and the side skirts to the rear add-on parts. The latter are a two-piece spoiler lip, a diffuser and two side skirt attachments. Further golden details are the decorative stripes and lettering of our typical MANHART decal set as well as the accent line on the horn of the new wheels. The matt black MANHART Classic Line Y-spoke rims measure 11×23 inches with 315/25 tyres. To match these XL combinations, we make the MHX6 700 stand even more crouched on the road. As part of the suspension optimisation, MANHART coil springs from KW Suspensions are used, which allow variable height adjustment. To crown the eye-catcher, the body is painted in an unusual shade of purple. As the vehicle designation MHX6 700 already indicates, the 4.4-litre biturbo V8 has also been optimised: It now generates a whopping 730 hp and 900 Nm! These are generated either by means of a MANHART MHtronik auxiliary control unit or an ECU remapping. The MANHART stainless steel exhaust system with valve control and four 100 mm tailpipes provides an even more brute sound. The interior remains in the carbonised standard condition. On request, MANHART also offers extensive customisation with Forged Carbon. The offer ranges from an eight-piece interior kit for the dashboard and door panels to back shells and side trims for the seats. Attachments for the steering wheel spokes and gearshift paddles round off the carbon portfolio. After the Lancia Delta Integrale and the E30 M3, our team continues to expand the activities of our Classic Cars department. Once again, the choice fell on a BMW: the 2002 tii presented here was also optimised by ALPINA, which we have now restored and further refined. Accordingly, the two-litre M10 in-line four-cylinder engine in the ALPINA A4 variant is found in the front of the sporty two-door. Thanks to the supplementary installation of a K&N airbox, the engine is significantly more powerful than in the "normal" BMW 2002 tii, stock (130 hp / 178 Nm). 200 hp and 215 Nm are listed in the data sheet of the power unit, which has been completely overhauled and refurbished by our Classic Cars team. The fact that the BMW expresses this power even more acoustically is thanks to the newly installed MANHART exhaust system. We installed a Raab coilover suspension by KW. In addition, the Wiechers strut brace provides more body stiffness. Road contact is provided by 215/40R16 and 225/40R16 tyres. They are mounted on original ALPINA multi-spoke rims newly installed by us, measuring 8x16 inches all round. While in this case they wear classic silver, we also offer an individually configured finish on request. Thanks to 25mm spacers front and rear, the wheels are perfectly aligned under the wings. These are noticeably more flared due to the ALPINA wheel arch extensions - called "pig cheeks" by insiders - which give the classic a much stockier appearance. Another visual highlight are the decorative stripes and lettering of the characteristic ALPINA decal set. It extends in light green and silver over the body, which is painted in the BMW colour Agave Green. The bright green of the accent lines on the body is also found in the interior: the seats have stripes in this colour as well as in blue. The driver and co-pilot sit in sports seats by Scheel, which have been restored by our Classic Cars department. The rear is rounded off by a Clubsport roll bar.
