The week that was. Got taken down by the lurgy that’s going around, but somehow that didn’t make it into the carousel. 1. A slick bun a day keeps the bad hair days away 2. The tree is up and the theme is more is more (as in every year, I add more decorations). A bought a few @johnlewis Christmas decorations last month, to top up my already sizeable JL decoration collection. Plenty of classic baubles alongside some mushrooms and gherkins, because why not. I also bought some velvet ribbon to create chic DIY Christmas bows - I just cut at various lengths and tied at random spots all over the tree - such an easy (and affordable) way to create an impact. But most special of all, this year Mila put the star on top of the tree, starting our own little family tradition. She was so proud of herself and reminds us daily that ’she put the star on’. #JLChristmas AD

An indecisive Libra attempts to get dressed @sezane AD

A very good weekend includes my fav bagels, my fav bakery and trying a new Italian spot. Special mention to this coat that is still my hard working every winter, seven years running.

A far cry from the tube. The most decadent day on the @belmondbritishpullman with @katespadeny for a festive lunch, carols, some magic and even a smattering of snow outside. Felt rather overdressed leaving home at 10am in this get up, but thankfully I fit right in on board (goes without saying it’s not real fur).

Packed my @antlerofficial bags for a night away in the Cotswolds. I’ve always waved the flag for UK staycations - anywhere that doesn’t require a flight (or luggage restrictions) *and* I can bring my dog, gets a big tick from me. I think it’s because I come from the opposite side of the world, where travelling home requires multiple days of travel. There’s just something so easy and calming about jumping in the car or on the train and arriving in a quaint little village that looks straight out of a Nancy Meyers set. AD #AnAntlerBag

I’m forever a whirlwind of chaos, always on the brink of running late whenever I need to get out the door, so unfortunately this slightly hectic Reel is me to an absolute t. Event season is full swing in London, so I thought I’d film the worlds quickest GRWM before I flew out the door. I’m a creature of habit when it comes to make up - I have my long time favourites - and even if I experiment with new products, I always end up back with my tried and true. All of my makeup I’ve bought from @johnlewis throughout this year, although I do have a few new editions from their Christmas haircare and wellbeing edits. I feel like the more rushed I am, the stronger my Kiwi accent becomes, so enjoy. #johnlewis #JLChristmas AD

Our dining space finally has a new lease of life. For the better part of this year, it’s been the unofficial dumping ground for toys, mail, coats… basically whatever you walk in the house with, you dump it there. It’s been surprisingly tricky to find a dining table that can actually seat 6+ people, and comfortably fits in our narrow Victorian house. So what better way to christen our new dining table and chairs from @neptunehomeofficial than with a dinner party. Did I pop the bubbles before our guests arrived and the meat was ready? Yes, yes I did. AD
