Rates are £40ph paid on the day. We have a studio cat. . 💘 Am looking for someone who loves using Ableton, has 3+ years experience producing / sound design (bedroom producer / graduate student / professional all counts). Posted @withregram • @minamusicuk Excited and nervous to share my first ever feature in @mixmag - countering the narrative I’ve seen in the press that touring will be impossible for UK musicians after Brexit, by speaking to DJs + artists from Ghana, Brazil, USA and Uganda that have succesfully toured Europe to learn about the barriers they faced + also a UK immigration expert to shed some light on the complex world of visas and work permits. Thank you to @eliabefreitas, @kkaybie @jubileedj, @bryte_music and Steve Richard for sharing your experiences. 🌍💖 we all wish brexit wasn’t happening, but I hope this article reassures you that touring will be possible, as many artists from outside Europe face much higher barriers than we do and still manage to tour successfully. for our industry to survive we need to be sharing tools and information on how to work in this new reality, so alongside this I’ve also created a page of resources on visas and mobility that I hope will be useful for artists from around the world. I’ve got quite a bit of experience applying for visas to UK and Schengen so if you’re a musician from a visa national country and ever need some advice, my dms are open! Link in bio!

I believe the only way to have our freedom is by writing our own history," DJ, writer and the series’ founder Theo Fabumni-Stone says of his decision to have the list wholly curated and authored by Black writers. "White aligning versions of core electronic music genres have been celebrated rather than the originators.
