Just in case you missed our collab with @lornarobey 💕 Lorna is an illustrator and print designer based in Leeds. Her practice centres around handcraft processes and manual print techniques. We teamed up with Lorna to create a digitally printed fabric. Made from natural fibres with a beautiful print of layered plant silhouettes, it’s perfect for dress making! This together with a collection of some of Lorna’s screen-printed pieces is available now on our website. Link in bio. 🌿

I am exceedingly excited to be launching this colourful cutout design ‘Folia’ as fabric by the meter with @hello.workshop ! myself and Aliss from Workshop. have been dreaming this up for over a year so it’s absolutely thrilling to have it finally available to buy! the fabric is printed digitally onto a 60% Cotton, 40% Linen blend which makes this fabric easy to sew and comfy to wear, and the colours are so vibrant and gorgeous, i’m so excited to get my hands on some!! pictured here on @hello.workshop ‘s gorgeous Lucy dress pattern, it would would also work well with their loungewear patterns, or Alex, Clare, Ellen, Ellie, Gemma, Katie and Sarah. (see the workshop. website for details of these beaut patterns!) shop link is in my bio and we have also put a selection of my fabric products on the @hello.workshop website to buy alongside the fabric should you want to! i absolutely cannot wait to see what all you talented crafters make with this, comment below to let me know what you’d make! ✂️🪡🎨

Just launched! Our fabric collaboration with @lornarobey We’ve been working on this such a long time, but because of various delays it’s taken over a year to release! We hope you love it as much as we do!

We’ve been a little quiet on here lately and with the cafe closed there’s been some confusion about what we’re up to!! We’re still running workshops! Our cafe in Headingley is closed, but we have a studio in the City Centre from which we run them from. There are dates currently still available to book online! Online classes are still running too, so you can join us for a workshop even if you’re not local to Leeds! More about everything on the website, as always, link in bio 🧡 Gorgeous picture of our cafe painted by the incredibly talented @dep.art.ures 🎨

Our big crockery sale goes live this weekend! You guys have loved our crockery since the beginning so we're putting it for sale online so you can own a little piece of Workshop after we close. 🧡 So how does it work? We'll be selling all pieces - some are the pieces we use in the cafe, some are spares which we've bought and haven't been used. Any used pieces will be checked over thoroughly and cleaned to be 'good as new'. You'll be able to buy these when the sale goes live at 19.00 on Friday. All orders will be logged and sent out after we close. There is a super limited amount of each piece, so make sure you're quick! We'll also give you the option of adding on a bag of @theblendingroom beans for the full Workshop experience ✨

Things have happened a little quicker than we expected. We always agreed with our landlord that if they found someone we'd end our lease sooner. With this in mind, our timeline has been brought forward and our last day open will now be the 18TH JULY. This leaves us two more weekends of take out coffee and brownies! Please do pop by and say hello, because we'd absolutely love to see you! ☕️ Workshops - if you're booked into a workshop with us which falls after this date, it will still be going ahead. You'll have an email in your inbox explaining everything (please check your junk). It looks like the people taking over after us are another wonderful Leeds based independent, so please show them your support over the next few months too. 🧡

And we're live! Introducing Lecia Lou X Workshop. We're bringing you an ebook featuring a series of embroidery patterns designed to be used on garments. Whether that's making your me-mades extra special or upcycling pieces already in your wardrobe. We all know it’s not a healthy way to shop, but fast fashion has such a presence in our world. This goes against our ethos. We believe in sustainability and creating ethical lifestyles with habits which are made to last. This is why we decided to work with Lecia Lou to create a collection of embroidery pieces. Embroidery is the opposite of fast fashion. We can use it to slow things down and take time with our garments. It is a skilled discipline which is often done through love of the craft and the process of making. With Lecia Lou, we specifically tried to create beautiful embroidery patterns which were designed to be used on clothes. Whether this is clothes which you’ve made or clothing you already own. We believe through spending the time with your garments and making them unique, you’ll create pieces which you’ll care for and cherish more. Not only will this prolong the lifespan of these pieces, but it will help you create a more sustainable wardrobe. With two very different collections, we're so excited to share these with you and hope you love them as much as we do!! 🧡

COMING SOON Here's a sneak peek at Workshop X @lecia.lou Lecia is an embroidery designer. She creates beautiful designs inspired by art, culture and lifestyle. Together we've created a series of embroidery patterns which have been designed to be used on garments. We believe that the more you love your clothes, the more you'll wear them and the more they become a favourite piece in your wardrobe. Through embroidery you can personalise your clothes and create pieces unique to you. The more you love them, the more you'll get from them whether that be more wears or treasuring them for longer. Either way, it helps you create a more sustainable wardrobe! We can't wait to share these with you!
