Welcome to Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte - a renowned Pessac-Léognan winery with a rich history. Recently named in the top 10 vineyards of the 2023 World’s Best Vineyards ranking, the estate’s roots date back to the 14th century - when the first recorded deeds for vine rows were signed. Today, the Cathiard family, who purchased the vineyard in 1990, remain dedicated to upholding the vineyard’s tradition of excellence.

Located in Bordeaux’s smallest AOC, Francs-Côtes de Bordeaux, Château Marsau enchanted the Chadronnier family when they first encountered it. Throughout the years, current owners Anne-Laurence and Mathieu Chadronnier have been dedicated to maintaining the integrity of their land. The winery began conversion to organic procedures in 2017, and Organic Certification was officially achieved with their 2021 vintage. Deemed the “Pétrus of Côtes de France” by Robert Parker, the family-owned vineyard has worked to craft powerful and esteemed wines reflective of their region. Along with dedication and skill, intuition plays a large role in the production of each Château Marsau vintage. Vineyard owner and CVBG Managing Director Mathieu Chadronnier explains winemaker Anne-Laurence’s approach in this segment from his discussion with Master of Wines, Mary Gorman-McAdams, at our 2021 Portfolio Tasting event.

For eight generations, Château Angélus has been dedicated to crafting high quality and luxurious Bordeaux wine. ⁠ ⁠ Located in the slopes of Saint-Émilion, the Premier Grand Cru Classe A estate is named for the three Angelus bells found in the surrounding churches, which can be heard ringing throughout the vineyards. Discover Château Cheval Blanc, a world renowned estate located in Saint-Emilion.⁠ ⁠ With records of vines dating back as early as the 1400s, Château Cheval Blanc has worked to create elegant wines expressive of their vineyard's unique terroir for centuries. ⁠It's prestigious history begins in 1832, when Jean-Jacques Ducasse, President of the Libourne Trade Tribunal, purchased a piece of the land from Chateau Figeac.
