En-suite floor, check ✔️No comparison to @patricia_urquiola period. Her bespoke tile collection is no exception. It’s been on my personal ‘must specify’ list. The Dechirer decor tile in Noir from @urbanedgeceramics is going to grace tmy home. A contrast to the calacatta marble vanity and white linear tiles, this tonal large scale floor tile is tactile and textural, yet soft and maintains the balance of finishes. Lace has been embossed on the tiles giving them a gentle sculptural feel. I opted for the 1200x600 for minimal grout joins, and will use an epoxy grout as this doesn’t oxidise. Getting laid on Monday (that’s what she said... jokes)..Will share the finished product.

First and last time I sew Mila an outfit for Halloween, as per her request - and to clarify, no disrespect would ever be intended to the Native American people. As a 6 year old, who has been explained the atrocities endured for too long, her innocent mind believes their traditional attire is beautiful so wanted to celebrate that. I hope this does not offend anyone, as there is no malice behind the outfit. Nonetheless, she was pretty impressed with my diy efforts so It was worth the profanities that were unleashed mid construction. I’ll still with homes I think!

Sad to hear of Kate Spade’s passing, who was New York’s sweetheart, an American and international household name in aspirational and accessible women’s fashion. Her signature style celebrating colour and a tasteful whimsy, carried through, to her ‘chat provoking’ statement pieces for the home. Sadly life is not always colourful and fun as we all have felt or experienced in some capacity. She leaves behind an intimate legacy through her life’s work and beautiful daughter amongst countless others. How much can happen in 3 weeks... Perspective is a bittersweet confusing enigma. Nonetheless I wanted to give a huge retrospective thank you to @generalpublicmelbourne, Dingley, for firstly facilitating a brilliant day for our Mila’s 6th Birthday, and finally actualising a venue, I believe every parent who’s entered a kids play centre has fantasised about. Bowling, on-point arcade, billiard tables, table tennis, fabulous food and a fully licensed bar/beer garden with all the trimmings and great staff. With 16 overexcited little people and their parents, the booze was a welcome guest at the table! Whether you have kids or are one, I highly recommend it. Big thanks to @theicingartist for Mila’s specially requested Unicorn Guinea Pig cake - Because an already mythical magical creature wasn’t impressive enough.
