Back for one night only, our former Head Sommelier @janeymaxine and her wonderful husband and @auswinelegends business partner (who has also been known to have done a cheeky Attica shift before) @dj_gramenon, will be taking over the wine service On Tuesday 8th of August, both @auswinelegends will be floating around the floor here at Attica, pouring some very special Australian wines, and chatting about the brand new book “How to Drink Australian” that they co-authored. We will be serving the current Attica menu, but with the added bonus of being able to say hi to these lovely legends and sip on some special wines of their choosing (if you would like to!) They will have some signed copies of their book available to purchase on the night as well. Jane and Jon- We CAN’T WAIT to see you again and help you both celebrate the release of this instrumental and essential wine book. Bookings as per normal and via link in the bio.
RIP Fantales 😢 This week we were reminded of our tribute to these small but mighty sweets: Attica’s Chefstales. Here is a sample of some of the wrappers from the chocolate covered caramel we served on our menu over 5 years ago, paying homage to some notable chefs from around the world, and of course, the iconic Fantales.
As a fresh-faced 19-year-old, Matt walked into Attica for his shift as a kitchen hand and never looked back. Now, 12 years later, he’s still here but these days he keeps our kitchen in order as head chef. At the link in our bio, Matt @boylemd recounts his first day (it involved a lot of mandarins!) and his time working through every station in the Attica kitchen.

At the link in bio, we’re spilling secrets from years of restaurant tables and at- home know-how to help you host the ultimate dinner party without feeling like you’re working overtime (unless you are @benshewry - he always works overtime when hosting guests!).
