Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Brandi @bee_outside

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am from upstate New York. I was born and raised here and currently live in the beautiful outdoor hub of the Finger Lakes region. I am a self taught photographer and outdoor enthusiast. I am passionate about animals, nature, sustainability and conservation.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Mostly I post landscapes, waterscapes, animal portraits and the destinations of my outdoor adventures

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My nickname is “Bee” and my account is all about encouraging people to get outside and explore their natural world.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I like to edit my photos with the Photoshop express app. I have found that it cleans up the resolution, color, and exposure of my photos to give them that serene quality I like in my nature shots.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I adore @peakproject for her brutal honesty and beautiful adventurous spirit!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

I would love for everyone to get behind the cricket protein bandwagon! It’s totally delicious and totally sustainable!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love connecting with people from all walks of life and all walks of the globe. Social media is an amazing thing because of how close we all can be from all corners of the world!

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Always be yourself, believe in your product and your goals. Never compromise who you are for anything or anyone.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Less is more when it comes to quality content. Don’t overwhelm your account/campaign with posting every image you ever create. Use your best stuff and space it out so your users/followers are always anxious for your next post.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love working with other creative minds to come up with new and innovate ways to market brands and products. The possibilities are endless!
