Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Amanda Bayley @allencompassingmama

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

Hi ya’ll my name is Amanda Bayley! I was born and raised in good old Boise, Idaho. After graduating high school I moved down to California to play soccer and earn a degree in Environmental Science from the University of Redlands. After 3+ years I couldn’t imagine myself living anywhere else for the rest of my life, and lets be real the weather is too amazing to leave. I moved to Newport Beach where I met my husband and had our son Jaxson. Fast forward… we moved to the Bay Area and have made a life up here. I currently work full time as an Environmental Scientist while being a full time mother and partner. In addition, I started my blog, All Encompassing Mama, almost a year ago now which I love to delve into in my spare time.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I love a little bit of everything! I create content based on my experiences as a mother, green beauty product reviews, health, fitness, environmental news, fashion and so much more.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I couldn’t pigeon hole myself into one specific niche if you will. As you can see from my previous response to the question above I love a little bit of everything! Thus the start of "All Encompassing Mama." I have so many interests and I wanted to share a little bit about each with my followers and subscribers.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I try to not use photo editing apps. I mainly focus on when the lighting is the best and take advantage of that. When I do need to brighten a photo I just use that tool in the photo editing section of Instagram.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Gosh, there are so many other influencers that I follow it is so hard to pick and choose my top favorites. I will say that The Organic Bunny really inspired my to switch from traditional chemical filled beauty products over to the "Green Side". I made the change to green beauty products in hopes of creating the healthiest environment for the little guy growing within. I also really appreciate all of the knowledge and tid bits The Wellness Mama has to offer.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

This may be a little random but a company called Meow Meow Tweet makes the best green deodorant I have had the pleasure of trying so far! It is a must for the warmer weather heading our way!

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love the ease of being able to connect with other mothers, scientists, organizations and companies. It makes making friends outside of the college experience so much easier! I was always kind of "given" my friends with being on sports teams or in a sorority all my life, so once I was out in the real world I had no clue how to really make a friend.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Don’t become a billboard! Share the things you genuinely use on a day to day basis, and not the items that you receive the most money from.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Don’t be like everyone else. Document your life and not the life you think others want to see.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love getting to know the amazing people behind the brands and creations. It is truly amazing what passion can create, and I love hearing their stories.
