Everybody wants the be in shape, but not everybody wants to do the work. If you want serious results, start training with intention and intensity. On high rep days, I go to failure on my last set of most exercises. I also utilize drop sets, supersets, partial reps, and the occasional intra-set stretching. Then every 3rd week, I go heavy to help build strength. But I canāt tell you the last time I did 3 sets of 10 of anything. Not to say that CANT work.. but itās not optimal most of the time.
Life is all about momentum. It is the key to success. It is what builds the drive and determination to keep moving forwards. Cuz lemme tell ya something, life aināt always gonna be easy. Youāre gonna have ups and downs. Youāre gonna face things that feel like a personal punishment that a higher power enforced upon only you. And itās not gonna feel fair. But truth is, it doesnāt matter how you feel about it. All that matters is what you DO about it. The universe gives you exactly what you need, exactly when you need it. And it rewards action takers. It rewards those who weather the storm and who do what they are supposed to do when theyāre supposed to do it. So if youāre currently unhappy with your life.. and you feel like youāre dealing with things that nobody else isā¦ I promise, you are not alone. Get up. Get moving. Change your thought process from āwhy meā to ātry meā and letās fucking go. And if you need a little help, there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. I am here for you. My team is here for you. DM me the word āMOMENTUMā and letās do this togetherš¤š»
First swim since the pec injuryā¦ unfortunately, I didnāt get any better at swimming while not swimming. T-minus 7 weeks and 1 day until the racešš¼āāļøš“š¼šš½āāļø
If youāre tryna build muscle, try these out. Focusing on these 3 things exploded my muscle growth. If you want help with the 3rd tip, DM me the word āBUILDā and Iāll send you a link to hop on a free call with one of my coachesšŖš¼
Send this to someone who needs a little truth sandwichš
What people think I eat: salads, chicken, rice and steroids. What I actually eat: chicken, rice, steak, eggs, burgers, ice cream, sandwiches, fries, veggies, pancakes, French toast, bacon, candy, pasta, tacos, chipotle, mashed potatoes, etc.. The key is structuring your diet so it fits YOUR lifestyle and goals.. and knowing WHEN and HOW MUCH of the not-so-healthy foods you should eat. Moderation is key. Also, I workout a ton, so that helpsš If you want help figuring out how to eat the foods you love while getting in the best shape of your life, DM me the word āRESETā and Iāll send you a link to hop on a free call to go over the best plan for youš«µš¼
When it comes to weight loss, being in a caloric deficit is a non-negotiable. Resistance training isnāt a non-negotiable because cardio can help as well but typically people donāt like doing cardio (and if thatās you, then donāt do it.) But the most important thing is to follow a plan that you can actually stick to. And if you want help figuring out a plan that will work best for you, DM me the word āBURNā and letās hop on a call and discuss what will be easiest for you and get you the fastest results.
Practice recognizing when youāre triggered and when youāre letting something eat at you and learn to let it go. Lifeās too short to be bothered by dumb shit.
Lookin to spice things up? Try this brutal back day superset. 7-8 reps of deadlift followed by pull-ups to failure. 4 sets. 90 second rest between. This was my fourth set and I was GASSED. If you want help with your workouts, DM me the word āTRAININGā and letās hop on a call and figure out the best game plan for youš«µš¼
Did my absolute best not to lose any size or definition throughout my pec strain experience by focusing on the things I WAS able to do and executing them each day. In the first couple days, it was rest because thatās what was best. The next week was mainly just riding a bike to stay lean. The next week, I was cleared to incorporate some resistance training. And now just yesterday, I was cleared to actually start loading the pec. So my point is, wherever you are right now, stop making excuses about what you arenāt able to do and focus on the things you can do. And if you want help figuring out what you can do, DM me the word āTODAYā and Iāll shoot you a link so we can hop on a callš„
Instagram story saw it firstš Update: Chest is healing nicely. Still quite swollen and certain movements hurt. Def canāt do any chest exercises yet. But Iām cleared to do pretty much any other exercise that doesnāt hurt. Which means itās time to get back into my triathlon trainingš¤š¤š¤ (minus the swimming part for now)
Wanna lose 50 pounds? Lose 1 pound first. Need to clean your house? Start with one room. Planning to run a marathon? Run a mile first. Trying to make a million dollars? Make $1000 first. Want to write a book? Write the first sentence. Big goals are important to have but sometimes they seem so far away that it can become easy to lose motivation along the way. So when you break that big goal up into small goals that you accomplish daily or weekly, it becomes more enjoyable, it becomes seemingly easier, and the more likely you are to achieve your big goal in the end. If you want help with this.. DM me or comment the word āGOALSā and Iāll send you a link to hop on a free call with a coachšš¼
