So I have A L O T of books, I read and decorate with them always. Moving them for years and adding to them. Tons of jewelry references and home decor theory etc. Anyone else not ready to let them go?

It’s been a minute since I did your apartment / multifunctional space in the city @megamediaconsulting and it’s still looking good overall! Lived in but design intact👏 no small feat with boys and work. What was that floor color I used again🤦‍♀️

Quiet spaces. I went very tonal in this space, but winter means bringing in some luxurious curtains and curling up☕️

I love this little nook off the kitchen and dining area. The sofa was custom made and is vintage. #dianevreeland red room all day long. Finished this project with lots of love. Vintage YSL love postcards from the collection of a former magazine editor. Happy Holidays everyone, can’t wait to veg here post turkey day tomorrow.

Well, it’s been almost a year since I posted and some of my interior and jewelry clients have become annoyed at me. So, at their behest I am saying hello again. I threw myself into a large home renovation and took on more interiors clients, all while sourcing special jewelry and giving up a bit on social media. We just shot the entire home which I’m proud of, since this gut job was to save a mid century marvel of a home! Here’s to checking in more and sharing more of my designs. Going to be building and renovating more homes in #litchfieldcounty soon and of course won’t be passing up. Good piece of vintage couture jewelry anytime soon…. Necklace photo dump! Always find myself amazed at the vintage pieces I’m lucky enough to source. This one sold but I’m still out there creating, curating, and designing. It’s been busy busy with interior design projects, but jewelry never stops. This one is for the jewelry fans out there.

I find myself posting less as I throw myself into interior design projects, finding vintage jewelry for collectors, and renovating my own home. But something I’m really proud of that we cultivated, from the abandoned state of the house, was the natural consequence of no one living here for years…this Alice in Wonderland style back garden with soft mowed grass dotted by milkweed paths. Why? Because it’s the only food monarch butterfly eat as they hatch and we’ve gone from millions to less than 40,000. Blessed to have them stay with us, if only a while.

I know I’ve been absent, but my interior design projects, especially my own renovation, is in full swing. We are adding the addition, have restored most of the mid century original house, adding the gunite pool, and working on landscaping, painting the ceiling…. Etc etc. The project is on solid ledge so it’s been all about moving mountains. I’ve now fully integrated my love of designing into a new site encompassing my interior design studio all under Sara Brandon Designs-So, for those who still love the vintage jewelry, there is going to be a very curated selection and I’ll still be available to design jewelry for other brands and the runway.
