And just like that, the first half of 2023 has gone by. While so much has happened, I’m reminded again that God is in control – He knows the beginning and the end, and everything else in between. All that needs to be done is to trust and have faith in Him, no matter how dark and grey things get. And of course, to be grateful for everything else that happens despite how small and normal they might be ☀️
Been on an unintended hiatus from posting but I’m back with a bunch of latergrams, of course – so much has happened since, but here’s to getting back some routine and consistency 💁🏻♀️
Didn’t think I’d experience love at first sight when it came to choosing my wedding dress, but this was truly it – I still remember my best friend telling me to think about it and try others before committing. But truth be told, I couldn’t take my mind off it, and I went ahead with this very dress! The delicate layers of this French lace was really something else ✨ Also, why a June wedding? Because, it’s peonies season, and hence my beautiful bouquet was obviously made up of fresh white and pink/magenta peonies – wouldn’t have had it any other way! 💐
My dream wedding arch brought to life ft. fresh blooms of peonies, roses and foliage – mainly whites and greens, with a pop of pastel pink 🌸🌿🤍
Gold foil deboss, calligraphy, cotton paper, wax seal, water colored leaves, the mrs box, frayed chiffon ribbons, our custom made rings - when all the details come together ✨
2022 has been quite the year for me as I tied the knot, moved into a new job, and got my own place, among other things. Reflecting on the past year, I am reminded of God’s goodness and faithfulness upon my life – when I felt that there was no way, He shows up at the right time even when you think it’s not (only to realize later on, just how things fell into place). It’s true that we can’t grasp what His plans are, especially when you’re in the thick of things, but take heart that His plans are always good for us. It was definitely a power-packed year for me, one that kept me really busy all throughout albeit feeling very supported and loved, but it’s still an ongoing journey as I keep learning to let go and let God take the wheel. I’m pretty excited for the year ahead, but it’s also looking to be a busy and pretty challenging one – so here’s a thank you for all that was, 2022!
Think we’ve accomplished quite a lot in the past couple of weeks, and boy was it really tiring. Getting our new home in order is no easy feat, especially when you only have limited weekends to play with. But today though, we’re finally almost there! And while not all days look like this, at least I’d like to think that MOST days are somewhat like this 😌
Finally got time on my hands (yay, holidays) so here’s continuing the wedding series, haha! But yes, this frame, also another favorite and made even better in black and white – my husband sharing his vows, looking so serious, but super nervous at the same time. Lots of feels right there 🤍
Can’t wait to come home to this one very soon. It’s been quite a busy period with back-to-back work travels, but am also very excited for a little home project this December. Just really looking forward to being grounded for a bit, especially since it’s the year end 😌
These sparklers were definitely one of the highlights of our wedding night – and we only have our bridal party and photographers to thank for going along with this idea 🥰
It’s been a while since my last post, but here’s finally sharing my beautiful bridal shower in a frame (or three)! My matron-of-honor and bridesmaids nailed everything so perfectly, especially given we were in and out of the pandemic season, and I was trying to be as careful as I could be. I am crazy blessed to be surrounded by these lovely ladies to journey through life with, and am excited to keep celebrating life’s milestones with them! Y’all know I love you so ♥️
Been feeling like I’ve been in a whirlwind of all things life lately, so I’m happy to finally have a quieter weekend this time around. And also just bracing myself for a busy September ahead 💪🏼 Here’s to a good month ahead, everyone - fingers crossed!
