Today on @champandthetramp we hear from @Frankieedgar after his devastating loss @ufc 268. This was an emotional one for Frankie. If you know him or have ever met him you know fighting is Frankies life not just from the aspect of providing for his family, but also that it defines his character. Wrestling as a kid sparked a love for combat sports which eventually brought him to train MMA and eventually to the UFC. He excelled at it because of his sheer will, heart, determination and unparalleled work ethic. Remember Frankie started his career at the lightweight 155 division because at that time that was the lowest weight class offered by the UFC organization and he cut zero weight to fight there. He has since fought at 2 other lower weight classes at the highest level over the past 16 years. He’s dedicated his life to this sport which means so very much to him and now he’s faced with the hardest decision of his life. Is it time to hang up the gloves and retire ?
