this post has nothing to do with singing. i have no idea why, but i just wanted to record this the other day. i can honestly tell you that this is the most vulnerable video i’ve *ever* posted on the internet - by far. my biggest social fear in the world is to sing in front of other people. i would literally rather show y’all my bare butthole than show me singing. truly. i won’t even do karaoke even though i love going. i think the fear comes from judgement and ridicule if i’m not perfect. if i’m off pitch or miss a note or three. believe it or not, i went to one of the best music schools in the world and i lived with terror of singing in front of people for 13 years because the joy of singing had been absolutely ruined for me with that program. it wasn’t joyous anymore. it was only shame. i graduated with my head hanging low. i have friends who are incredible singers and i feel sick at the thought of singing in front of them. but! i preach bravery and vulnerability on my social media all day long and ya know what? it’s just singing. i love singing and i only do it privately. i don’t even really sing in front of darlin’…even though he plays instruments! and we could make cute little music together! would y’all like to see something like that? i can’t let silly stupid fears debilitate me in my grown age anymore. so here it is, completely and utterly one of my biggest fears. i love patsy cline and i love singing and i want to do it more. if i do it more, maybe it won’t hold such fear for me anymore. #fatbabesdoingthings #fatgirlscan

we’re doing an #inthefittingroom try on at @target! i’ve seen so much cute stuff online so i wanted to check it out for myself. i found great pieces! i’m a size 22/3X and everything i tried on ran large. i’ll list the sizes below! my LTK and my stories will have all the links for everything and it’s all currently on sale! keep reading for fit notes! 👇🏼 (the dress and reeboks i wore to the store are both from asos!) ava and viv romper - tried a size 3X and ran very large. definitely size down at least 1 size! the colors were so pretty and the material was super lightweight and flowy. has pockets! @shoprhode X @target 2 piece: the skirt was only in a 1X in store so it was small on me but i think a 2X would be great. the top was in an XXL and there was plenty of room! if this had been my size skirt i would have gotten it. has pockets! @fenoel X @target 2 piece: i LOVE this! the colors are gorge and it feels so summery. the skirt was in a 20 and fit perfectly and the top was in a 2X. this with some sandals and a fun bag is perfect for the warmer weather. @fenoel X @target bikini: this color way and simple cut/pattern is great. i’m wearing the pieces in a 2X. just a very well-cut simple bikini in colors that are beautiful! universal thread white crop and linen skirt: i ended up buying this skirt! it’s so simple but will be versatile in the summer. comes in lots of colors as does the top! both were an XXL and fit great. universal thread denim top: this is super comfy and secure feeling. has adjustable straps and i love the neckline. wouldn’t pair with this skirt but would be presh for a double denim look. a new day black strappy dress: i’m wearing an XXL. this is SO NICE and so well made. the fun neck straps aren’t uncomfortable at all but add such a cute touch. has a perfect fit at the waist and pockets! hits about midi length. will def be grabbing it! #plussizefashion #plussizetryonhaul #targetstyle #plussizeattarget

i got a surprise delivery from @whatlowants by @thelaurengray and couldn’t be more stoked! if you’ve not heard of the brand, they’re a plus size company out of LA for sizes 14-32. the patterned pieces are in the new ‘sicily’ print and you bet your ass they’re coming with me to sicily in a few weeks! the colors are bright and beautiful 😍 the dress and skirt are both stretch mesh, with the dress being unlined and the skirt being lined. i’m wearing a 2X in the dress and a 3X in the skirt (could easily go down a size). the white ‘lana’ top is in a 2X with fully adjustable front so you can style it however you like. everything is so breathable and comfortable - i can’t wait to style each piece with other things in my wardrobe, too. again, @whatlowants killed these pieces and i can’t recommend the brand enough to plus size bodies! #plussizefashion #fatbabesdoingthings #whatfatgirlsactuallywear
