⁣I was lost in the world. I was looking for identity. I was looking for peace, joy, and love. I tried to fill that void in my heart with worldly things. Success, money, validation, traveling, relationships, self-help ( personal development) and ultimately I ended up in the New Age, desperate to heal all my trauma. ⠀ ⠀ I would do yoga, meditation, chakra healing, reiki, breath work, shadow integration, tarot cards, theta healing , law of attraction, astrology, psychedelics (..) ⠀ ⠀ My mental health got worse. I started feeling anxious and depressed about all the unresolved issues in my life. ⠀ My hope was gone. ⠀ I felt like I was fighting an internal battle with demons inside my head.⠀ ⠀ Darkness seemed to engulf me. And as these feelings consistently got worse, I asked myself ”What am I missing ? What‘s wrong with me ? ⁣I tried everything.. reiki, yoga , breathwork, meditation, tarot cards , astrology , sage , hypnosis , dmt , ayahuasca , theta healing , self help books etc 🔄 my mental health got worse , I felt more and more empty. ⠀ I was told this is normal. It blew my mind 🤯 I watched so many New Age to Jesus testimonies on YouTube .. I got convicted straight away! All these occult practices open door for demonic entities.. which you might call ,, angels / spirit guides “ 🙄 I started reading the Bible and praying to god to help me heal 🥹 It wasn’t easy.. the moment I turned away from the new age and got rid of everything ( books , sage , reiki certificate, Buddha statues ..) I got spiritually attacked from these ,, light beings“ I was soll confused .. This is a message for new born believers in Christ! The devil doesn’t like that you’re on fire for Jesus. He will do anything to dimm your light and to steal the great testimony God gave you. The enemy would even use lukewarm religious christians to tell you that they “used to be like you once” in order to discourage you from being so bold or outspoken and on fire for Jesus. People will tell you you’re radical, judgemental, or too extreme. Darkness doesn’t like to be exposed by the Light! Jesus‘ flame in you will trigger other people’s demons and convict those who are lukewarm. Christ’s light in you will bring other people’s sin into view and their wicked acts into the open. (John 3:19-21). People will accuse you of what they are guilty of just to avoid looking at their own sin. From a young age people would tell me that something is wrong with me, that I’m not normal. I was consistently told I am bi-polar, or that I have ADHS. People would turn against me and try to manipulate other people to think badly about me. I would later realizing they were jealous of me and being used by the devil to condemn with word curses. The enemy would send people into my life to try and destroy me, to take attack my self-worth and curse me, leaving me with a lot of insecurities. Because I didn’t know Jesus and my identity in him, I gave people the control to tell me who I was and what I felt. I literally gave them all the power to manipulate and gaslight me and I believed the word curses they put on me. Speaking death, slandering, gossiping, cursing, and emotional manipulating are Witchcraft. And Witchcraft is never from God and not to be tolerated! ⁣Is there someone in your life you need to forgive ? 🫀⠀ ⠀ Jesus healed me from bitterness and unforgiveness. Before I knew Christ it was so hard for me to truly forgive. I had so much pain and emptiness in my heart. I tried all kinds of psychology and new age methods to heal these abandonment and rejection traumas. ⠀ No matter how much “inner healing’’ I would do, the sorrow in my heart would never leave me.⠀ ⠀ I felt some temporary relief but the pain would always creep back in - leaving me feeling hopeless and desperate.
