Magic blossoms each summer in Canby in the form of magnificent dahlias. Catch peak bloom at @swanislanddahlias in the next couple of weeks as August transitions to September. Their brand new, two-story gift shop filled with specialty items and other delights is scheduled to open then too!

If you’re anything like us, dealing with traffic and crowds doesn’t exactly float your boat. As warm temperatures persist, lots of people are heading to the Clackamas River for relief. The Willamette Water Trail—where nature’s serenity meets urban charm! The Willamette River is within half a mile of the vibrant hearts of downtown Oregon City, West Linn, Milwaukie and Lake Oswego. What's that in the air? If you answered pumpkin spice you'd be close but we were looking for fall. The changing season has us feeling gourd around here with so much to do! Hop in your autumn-mobile for a drive of scenic colors, say "hay there" at one of our many festivals or go for a hike and enjoy this un-be-leafable weather! No matter how you choose to enjoy the season, throw on your har-vest and visit Mt. Hood Territory!

This Saturday, from 10am-4pm, @philipfosterfarm is hosting their annual Cider Squeeze. You can bring your own apples, purchase apples from the farm or just buy cider. Guests enjoy vendors, food, craftworkers and musicians all day! Admission is $5 individuals, $20 for a family or free if you purchase the Clackamas County Heritage Pass.

The site that now houses Estacada City Hall was once home to the thriving Hotel Estacada. In the early 1900s, visitors would arrive from Portland via trolley to stay and dine at the hotel or hike and picnic along the river.
