🌠 SIZZLING BROWNIE 🌠 *Finally* ticked @fattpundit off my list and the flavours were amazing. We felt full after our meal but couldn't leave without trying the famous sizzling brownie. ✨ Dim Sum Favourites ✨ My must orders are Steamed rice rolls (腸粉 Cheung Fun) Thai Style Chicken Feet (泰式鳳爪) and Fried Glutinuous Rice Dumplings (咸水角 Ham Sui Gok). 🤤 I didn't enjoy Dim Sum much as a kid, I remember drinking too much tea and not being able to sleep at night. 🥲 But over the last few years I've grown to love it. 🇯🇵 Build your own BENTO 🇯🇵 A lovely Japanese lunch with a build your own bento box for £9. 🍱 You can choose each component and I went for Prawn Tempura 🍤, Seared Butterfish 🍣, Nasu Dengaku 🍆 and Rice 🍚. The tempura was so light and crisp. 🍤 I think this was the first time I tried butterfish and it melted in my mouth. I loved the truffle dressing it sat in. The sweet savoury miso flavour of the aubergine 🍆 was perfect but I found the skin quite rubbery. Overall a tasty bento box but it didn't fill me up. The 'Our Roll' sushi was delicious. 🤤 The salmon, tuna and seabass worked well together and it was textural happiness with the crunch of the Salmon skin and burst of tobiko/caviar. 🇮🇹 A taste of Italy in Soho 🇮🇹 Cacio e Pepe £14 • La Pappardella £14 • Pan Scallops £14 The cacio e pepe with Truffle was beautiful. A rich truffle and cheese flavour so no wonder why it's one of the most popular dishes here. 🙌 The pappardella was nice but I'm so used to Beef ragu with pappardelle that the sausage and thyme threw me off. 🤷‍♀️ Not pictured is the tiramisu that they gave me for my birthday and that was SO good. 🥩 Steak night but make it WAGYU🥩 Flat Iron - The Wagyu special for their newest branch in Waterloo - The Cut. The fanciest steak I've had in a while, the Wagyu came with its own certificate! We queued for just under 2 hours to get the free steak which was good, but I was hoping for that melt in your mouth moment. 🤤 There were a few bites that felt tender, but the rest was quite chewy. 🇻🇳 HAPPINESS ON MY TABLE 🇻🇳 My go to orders when I'm at a Vietnamese restaurant, a bowl of Beef Pho £13.50 and Banh Cuon £13.50. Not a lot of places have banh cuon so when they have it, that makes me extra happy. 😊 This food is just so comforting. The only slight negative for this bowl of Pho is it didn't come with the side of herbs and chilli.
