Omg 🥹 I fall more in love with this horse every second I’m with her 💕🫶🏼 She has some big shows coming up! I cannot wait for the upcoming season with her! She has had a bit change which I think is really going to help her jumping! Stay tuned for Stella’s big step up 😊😊🤪🤪 Outfit from @freerideequestrian 📸 - @cassidy_brookee

The SPICY Queen is back! 🤩 Stella and I went over to @kfpequestrian this afternoon and had a lesson with @grantseger 🤩 Stella was on fire and jumped the biggest she has ever jumped and made it feel easy 😍 we learned so much and gained so much confidence, and I am definitely feeling ready for us to step up to the .90’s at our next show! Thank you so much @kfpequestrian @grantseger @dana.cooke ❤️

❄️ Alaska injury Update ❄️ Thankfully the treatment plan we did worked well. He has improved tremendously over the past couple of weeks. He does however have to have a couple of months off work. This means that the summer show circuit is a no go for us. I am just so glad that he has improved as much as he has and that he doesn’t have to be in stall rest. After his break we will have the vets check him again to make sure everything is looking good, then if all goes well we will be back doing what we love most! This means that Stella will have to be taking the reins on the summer circuit. 😆 Shirt from @freerideequestrian (gifted) #pony #ponylove #ponylife #ponyofinstagram #ponyrider #ponypower #ponyjumper #ponyjumpers #ponyjumpersofinstagram #showjumper #showjumpersofinstagram #equestrian #equestrianlife #equestrianproblems

BEAT THE HEAT PT 1 ☀️ Hot temperatures are really hard on your horse especially if your horse is a working athlete so here are a few tips to help keep them cool and comfortable! Tip 1 ☀️ Make sure to clean your horses water troughs/buckets frequently - with the heat comes a lot of humidity which can cause a lot of bacteria growth in your horses water buckets, which can cause the water to taste bad. This can result in your Horse not wanting to drink the water and become dehydrated. So make sure to scrub your buckets frequently! Tip 2 ☀️ keep your horses hydrated - if your horse is not a big drinker, it is important to keep him hydrated no matter what, so here are a few things I do to rehydrated my stubborn drinkers 😉 ☀️ add water to their feed ☀️ make them pony Popsicles ☀️ add alfalfa cubes, and or chopped apples to a bucket of water and have them bob for the treat. Tip 3 ☀️ Feed your horse and electrolyte supplement - electrolytes are very important to feed your horse. They provide vital minerals that can be lost through sweat. My horses love the Accu Bites from @mannaprohorse ❤️ my horses refused to eat any other electrolyte. The Accu bites are so convenient and so easy to feed! 🐴

What an amazing end to an amazing weekend 🤍 The morning started off with a bit of a confidence nock. Stella and I got eliminated due to a refusal at fence one of our classic jumper round this morning. Stella simply was terrified of the jumps wings. 😂🤪 Green horse problems 🤣 It was actually pretty funny but still nocked Stella’s confidence so we added In the 2ft jumper round and we had an amazing confidence giving round! Then on to this afternoons hunter tadpole trips… they were both AMAZING 🤩 No issues at all! That what’s young horse training is all about 🥰 Overall OVER THE MOON with how amazing Stella did this weekend and can’t wait to get her out in a few weeks for another comp 🫶🏼 And happy Fathers Day to @johnnie.floyd the best horse show dad around ☺️

Day one of @harmonclassics Derby Mania was a success! Our .80 jumper rounds were both fantastic! 2 double clears! So happy with how Stella stepped up to her first .80 🤩 she was so confident and very carful over the fences! Can’t wait for our .80 classic tomorrow! 💕 I also competed in the tadpole hunter derby this evening and we got a score of 132 for our first Derby! Content out soon from that event!

Alaska update we originally thought that Alaska had a laminitis flare up due to the symptoms he was having but after he stopped responding to the treatment, and his lameness became much more obvious we took him to the vets to do more investigating and found that he has some damage to his lower suspensory ligament. Thankfully the vet said he didn’t think that it was torn or strained, he said that he thinks it is just light trauma caused by getting kicked or stepped on by one of the other horses. He has a treatment plan for the next week and if we don’t see any improvement from that, he is scheduled for an ultrasound to make sure that there is no tearing but we are fairly sure there isn’t any. The reason why we thought it was laminitis is because Alaska has such a high pain tolerance that he was trying to hide his injury making it very hard to tell exactly what was wrong. But thankfully there is nothing wrong with his hooves. The laminitis symptoms were simply coming from the suspensory ligament injury. Let’s hope this treatment plan works 🤞
