Remember that 1000HP Twin Turbo Godzilla we built at PRI!? Well, after we got it home and hit the dyno with it, the dust settled and a winner was chosen! We couldn’t have found a more perfect fit for this engine! The excitement was unmatched. We barely had the top off the box before John was trying to mock up engine mounts and measuring for its new home in an F1 Ford truck!! John just happened to be 3 hrs down the road so we decided to take it upon ourselves to deliver the engine right to his doorstep! What a cool experience! We can’t wait to build our next giveaway engine!
Being able to tune your C8 opens options for many things. Going twin turbo has a lot of advantages but it also brings up some issues. Having a stock plastic intake with boost is asking for failure. We have designed this billet intake for high boost applications. We know most of you already bought your turbo kit for your factory intake. That’s fine because we put the throttle body flange in the exact same location as the factory. We offer port injection for those high horsepower applications where DI just isn’t enough. There are many advantages to running our intake. Next up is our billet valve covers. Running boost will almost always require running a catch can of some sort. We made a set of billet valve covers specifically for the C8 corvette that allow you to run -10 line to your catch can/ventilation system. All available at latemodelengines.com
Following along with the trend of the LT2 or “The C8 engine” we would like everyone to know about their cylinder head options!! As many have heard the C8 Corvette world has been opened to tuning the factory ECU! The aftermarket world never stops! We couldn't be more excited about this news. For the last 3 years, we have been mastering the LT2 Platform. The LT1's and LT2's (C8) have the same bottom end power capabilities and as everyone knows the Gen V LT1s pistons & rods can't handle the boost! We have proven time and time again, how to build these engines well past their stock capabilities. We have put the time in for research and development, to make this platform stand out from the rest. The LT2 is no stranger. We have built these engines capable of 1500 HP! We can port the factory heads or if you're genuinely trying to make big power we have our aftermarket CID/LTX race heads as a great option. Camshafts, ported heads, shortblocks, longlocks, and intakes are all great products we are proud to offer! We can't wait to see these cars making the power we built them for. Tuning capabilities will be unlocking a lot of built up potential.

We teamed up with @diamondpistons long ago to create our lineup of Custom Diamond 2K pistons. We use these in our 1400-2000HP builds. They are used in LS, LT and a few Gen III Hemi builds. The strength of these pistons come from the bracing in between the wrist pin towers. We have ran these pistons for over 5 years and the success rate is through the roof. We lost count of how many records are held at the moment with these slugs. We know what we are doing when it comes to engine design. These are just one of the most essential parts of the full build!
