First time eating steak for breakfast.. and it wasn’t weird! I tend to associate certain foods with certain meals, for example steak would only be for dinner, and eggs would only be for breakfast or a snack. Is anyone else like this? 🤔 . Food is food at the end of the day, and I’m slowly working on my relationship with food and reminding myself that food is our fuel, and depending what food I eat will depend on how much fuel I will have.. . Do I want to have energy all day? Well then I need to make sure I’m eating the right foods packed with protein to keep me fuller for longer, slow releasing carbs so I can have energy for longer as well as the good healthy fats! It takes time to master this, but to give me that sufficient energy to train hard and burn body fat it takes dedication to getting nutrition on point. Trust me I’m nowhere near mastering it, it’s a progress, but consistency and will power will get me there! We all have our weaknesses and bad habits with ourfood, my weakness being chocolate and my bad habit is always wanting to eat something sweet after savoury, so baby steps it is, I’m working on making healthier alternative choices 💪🏻. . I’ve realised for me to stay on track I need to be prepped and have everything ready to hand and then I will do well.. Super Easy 5 Ingredients Thai Fish Curry 1️⃣ Line a tray with veg of choice. I used a bag of mixed frozen cauliflower and broccoli from Coles. 2️⃣ Lay four fresh fish fillets on top. I used Hake. I bought the frozen 10 pack from Aldi and thawed first. 3️⃣ Add a spoon of red curry paste of choice to each fish piece. 4️⃣ Pour a can of light coconut milk all over. 5️⃣ Add Frozen spinach lumps (optional - I buy from Aldi or Coles) and put in the over on 180 degrees for 40 mins.. 🥦🥦🥦 This is one of my new fav dishes, the flavours are soooo good. 🥦🍽5 MEAL PREP TIPS 🥑🥬 1️⃣ Plan your dishes & how many meals you want to make from each. 2️⃣ Write a shopping list so you don’t miss any ingredients in your shop. Include storage containers/disposable baking trays etc if you don’t have already or do not have enough for the prep you want to do. 3️⃣ Make sure you have the fridge/freezer space available prior (I made rookie error 🤣) 4️⃣ Plan your prep so you are preparing the dish that will take longest to cook first, so you can keep the time in the kitchen to as minimum as you can. 5️⃣ Keep meals for 2-3 days in the fridge and freeze the rest, taking a couple out for lunch and dinner the night before consumption to thaw 🙌🏻 . I spent 2hrs in the kitchen start to finish: prep, cook and clean and made 20 meals (4 dishes total). Doing this has prepped me for almost 2 weeks 👌🏼. My aim of having these nutritious healthy meals prepped ready to go, is to help keep me from eating unhealthy, processed quick convenient foods whilst I juggle my busy work/study schedule. Doing so makes me feel sluggish and low in energy, therefore not as productive in my work/study, so it’s a win/win for me to be prepped. I also want to shred some body fat for summer and overall health and well-being. Who doesn’t want to feel good and healthy hey?! 🤗💪🏻❤️ . Ps I will share each quick and easy recipe and the easy cooking instructions in my next post.. I’m working on it..
