Cincinnati ✨ This city will forever mean so much to me, the first city I visited in America and a place where I was able to really connect with the Father. This city opened my eyes to things I had never experienced living in Australia, both good and bad. Cincy, I can’t wait to be walking your streets again

One thing I love more than the beautiful Australian beaches is how diverse this country is and how @_somebodydifferent highlights this. Having a disability myself I know I’m different but it’s so fun to embrace all our own individual aspects. I love meeting people from completely different walks of life and learning from them as each has something new for me to learn. 20 on the 20th in 2020

20 things I’ve learnt in my 20 years here 1. Diabetes sucks 2. Needles suck but fun fact I’ve given myself about 4,300 by now 3. You don’t have to go to uni straight from school 4. But if you do at some point go to uni, tell your mum before you’re enrolled, don’t just drop it on her one morning after you’ve started 5. Also don’t just decide to go to uni on a whim 3 days after you’ve just gotten back from another country 6. It’s okay to quit your job in the middle of a pandemic 7. It’s okay to quit your job if it’s not good for your mental health 8. If you get the chance to speak in parliament, first speak about your one true love (one direction) 9. Then, go speak about something important, like autism awareness in adults 10. It’s best not to be interviewed by the police in your pyjamas at the kitchen table but sometimes things like that happen 11. Mums truly are a big blessing from God 12. Just because you have family doesn’t mean you have to love them and get along with them 13. Also when it comes to friends, if they don’t make you feel good about yourself they’re not worth it 14. Speeding fines are expensive!!! Not worth it at all! 15. Politics is so much fun and I really don’t know why people don’t like it?? 16. If you don’t know what a word means but you want to use it, say it with confidence, no one will know 17. Not everything everyone says is meant literally, really learnt this the hard way, ‘it’s a piece of cake’ does not literally mean ‘hey that is a piece of cake’ 18. When your sister calls you a peasant, it is not meant as an endearing term 19. Also, when your sister says “do this for me now I’ll pay you back later”, she doesn’t mean it 20. Finally, it is A-Okay to scream along in your car to All Too Well by Taylor Swift, we all need to let it out sometimes

Today my church family reminded me of why I have God on my side. Ready or Not by Hillsong UNITED completely shaped my trip to America, I listened to it every time the plane was taking off, handing over the next leg of the trip to the Lord. I don’t think I was ever ready for what was to come but he made me ready. I’m now sitting here on the eve of turning 20, with the same fears I had when leaving for America. Excited for the journey but terrified because I have no idea what is to come. I have no idea what the next year is going to bring for me but I know God has already gone ahead and paved the way for me. Like the lyrics say, he’s already done enough and he is still doing more. He’s already won the battles I’m about to face in this next year of life and I’m so excited to have that confidence going ahead. So bring on being 20, ready or not, God is on my side, let’s do this ✨

Where have I been? 🌏 Honestly it’s been a while since I’ve been active on Instagram and it’s mainly due to mental health. The end of last year was very full on with finishing up my studies, starting a new job and traveling internationally for the first time. 🌎 my trip to America was amazing and while I am upset I didn’t share it on here it was absolutely amazing to just be in the moment exploring such an amazing place ⭐️ what I have learnt is that I do love Social Media and Marketing so I have decided to go to Uni and finally study what I love, I’m not holding myself back anymore also I’m starting a YouTube channel (whatttttttt?!?) 🌪 here’s to the whirlwind that 2020 has already been and to anything else it’s gonna bring. Can’t wait to share life with you again 🥂

doing life alone sucks 😫 these past months I’ve learnt that I’m not going to achieve my personal goals by myself. I’ve had to work with many other people and lean on others to get me through. you can only get so far on your own. appreciate the people around you, the ones that help you and guide you through the tough times
