we loved helping @emilyfeikls and her fam celebrate father’s day (just a little early) this year! if you can’t be together tomorrow because of distance, cooking the same meal and eating together on a video call can be the next best thing - it’ll hold you over until that next in-person hug 🥰. _ emily’s father’s day turkey burgers: combine 1 lb ButcherBox ground turkey, ¼ cup chopped green onion, 2 cloves minced garlic, 2 tbsp ranch dressing, 1 tsp sea salt, ½ tsp chili powder, and ½ tsp black pepper. preheat a sauté pan over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. form the turkey mixture into 4 large balls and press to flatten into the pan. cover and let cook for 7-8 minutes then flip and cook for another 6-8 minutes or until center is no longer pink. eat together over video chat and talk about what you’re going to do the next time you get to see each other!!

fridays are for easy flank steak stir fry 🔥 (and also catching up on all of the reality tv i missed this week) _ marinate flank steak in ½ cup tamari (or soy sauce), 1 lemon (juiced), 2 tbsp maple syrup, and 1 tsp salt for 5-8 hours or overnight. to cook, preheat a large sauté pan over high. Remove steak from marinade and add to pan, cover and leave over med-high heat for 5 minutes. Flip and let cook for an additional 3-5 minutes depending on size of steak. remove from heat and let rest while preparing cooking the vegetables. sauté chopped broccoli + red bell pepper with avocado oil and salt over medium heat for 8-10 minutes until softened. season with fresh lemon juice, coconut aminos, and ginger before serving. slice flank steak, serve over vegetables, and add a sauce of preference, if you’re feelin it! sesame ginger pairs perfectly with the toasted sesame seeds in this recipe.

pasta on a patio just hits different ❤️‍🔥 add a little spice to your summer 🍝 with this one: it has gochujang & our grass-fed + grass-finished ground beef! (ps: we’re back to offering FREE ground beef for a year, plus an additional $70 off for new subscribers 👀) _ Bring a pot of water to a boil and season with salt to taste. Add pasta of your choice and give it a stir. Cook the pasta to al-dente, about 10-12 minutes or according to the package instructions Cook and crumble 1 lb of butcherbox ground beef. Drain grease. In a saucepan (deep pan works too), add olive oil, chilli flakes and garlic (measure with your heart), and keep on low heat for around 2 minutes until fragrant. Add a big spoonful of gochujang paste into the pan and cook for about two minutes, before adding 2 ladles of pasta water. Add 1/2 cup of cream into the pan and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Mix the sauce until well combined, and add the parmesan (1/4c). Stir to form a creamy sauce, adding another ladle of pasta water if necessary. Add the ground beef and pasta into the pan and stir to combine, gently heating as you stir. Let the pasta simmer in the sauce for 2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens enough to coat pasta well. Serve pasta and garnish with basil and desired amount of parmesan & basil. Enjoy!

my love language is carne asada tacos, no further questions. _ Ingredients: your favorite marinade - we love @havenskitchen herby chimichurri (now available on our site!) small tortillas butcherbox flank steak street taco tortillas cilantro, chopped onion, chopped zesty mayo (marinade + mayo!) Directions: Add flank steak to a shallow bowl and top with most of your marinade. Mix around until all sides of the meat are coated. Place into a plastic bag with sauce for up to 8 hours. Using the remaining bit of the marinade (unused) and add to mayo to create a yummy sauce to go with your tacos! Cook the marinated flank steak on the grill and set aside to rest. While the steak rests, heat up your tortillas and prep the cilantro and onions. Cut the flank steak against the grain and then into smaller pieces. Add your zesty mayo, carne asada, cilantro and onions onto the tortillas to enjoy!

sometimes you have to phone it in for lunch and you know what? that’s a-🆗. our breaded chicken tenders are here to make days like that a little more delicious. _ recipe for the easiest crispy chicken caesar for when the last thing you want to think about is making lunch: air fry chicken tenders for 10-12 minutes at 425F chop romaine lettuce and add to a large dish or bowl. Top with cooked chicken tenders, croutons or cracker crumbles, shredded parmesan cheese, and your favorite caesar dressing. if you are not totally operating at zero energy, add salt, pepper, and fresh lemon juice, but if you are, skip ‘em - it’ll still be good. toss everything to coat with the dressing - then eat it hastily at your wfh desk.

Cook on both sides for about 3-5 minutes, depending on how hot your grill is and the thickness of the meat. Once the steaks are cooked, set aside to rest before cutting. Add your zucchini and cook for a few minutes until there is a nice char on both sides. While you’re letting the steaks rest, create your topping Thinly slice the ribeye and add allll the topping, then enjoy!
