So, yesterday my granny and her friend were in a really bad car accident. Her left leg is broke, her left shoulder has a hairline fracture as well as one of her bones aligning her spine is broke as well 😥🥺 Many of you know my grandmother has been on dialysis for about a year and some change now. Just as we were getting use to her new routine, this happens. I'm numb, scared to feel to much, so I'm staying busy, riding it out. She needs me more then ever so I'm asking for prayers for strength. My granny is one tough cookie. I know first hand what side of the family, I got my strength from 😂 There were others whom where hurt as well and on their behalf I'm asking for prayers for them as well. Since I'm not family, HIPPA law, I can't even inquire how they are doing. Only God knows how I'm still standing. 🙏🏽 . Hopefully she will be home soon so she can rest in her own bed. This was suppose to be our year. Our first time celebrating the holidays, eating Thanksgiving dinner we cook and eat at a table. My granny is one of the most strongest woman I have ever know. Even with dialysis, the surgeries, the pain, she still held her head high. She was in a bad car accident NOV. 1ST & things have continued to slide down hill. Yesterday she told 1 of her daughter's "I'm tired, I'm Ready to go home" . That took the breath out my body. I had to grab my bag so I can hit the gym. I gotta burn some of this weight off my chest. My emotions are everywhere 😢 scattered. Taking these dark times onat e day at a time. Spirit lost, drained . So shocked and disappointed all the negatives that aligned my grandmother's catr accident. Giving it to GOD. He is in control. Feeding off my granny's ability to fight even at the lowest of times, mainly. Let's be clear, my granny is one tough cookie 🍪. Dialysis 3 times a week in combination with 3 broke ribs on the left side, left leg broke, C3(spine) fractured. She won't be home for at least 4-6 weeks. My name being spoken badly about, while I'm the one carrying it all. Doctors appts, medication pickups, bathing, scheduling doctors appts., going to doctors appts., keeping my granny's hair fresh🙌🏽😘 cleaning, cooking, running miscellaneous errands, making sure she has what she needs and wants. In no means has it been easy. We bumps heads but at the end of the day, imma ride for her, all gas ⛽ no breaks. Even at my worst.. others worst, her love never waigers , she will still love you, feed you, stand right beside & for that, my loyalty runs deep. She never gave up on me and here I stand. Not Being able to give her one of my kidneys nor help her be rid of thee massive amount of pain she is in daily. My whole life I have maybe seen my granny cry maybe 5-6 times. The screams, the expressions of ci can't make it better 🤦🏽‍♀️ complete pain and fear, from the pain she is in with someone just trying to place a pillow under her head, readjust her neck brace is breaking me. Reminding self.... hurt people, HURT PEOPLE. So I keep begging for prayer, for continued strength, clarity, healing. Her strength is my strength. My girls, have lost so much, aside from being an average teenager, they have been amazing considering. I'm blessed.. They have been gifted a chance to know her, learn from her, get told off like only Granny can 🤣🤪 Granny don't take no mess ctfu 🤣 Pushing the negatives aside, blocking them so I can focus on the good for my granny's healing process.
