Very productive solid day and feeling good! Rested my body the past couple days bc I was noticing signs of not just it whispering, but yelling at me. They called me “spark plug sparky” on the basketball team for a reason. I don’t stop ever. It’s easy to ignore the whispers and the “battery is low” moments. We will rush to that damn charger to charge our dying phone and replace the gazillion other gadgets sending us the signs, YET we are constantly ignoring the whispers our body is saying to us. The many broken and very low fuel moments throughout my life and even the past ten years has molded me mentally and physically. I’m a hard ass that takes a hard ass approach to teaching and criticism the best. I don’t respond well with soft spoken demands and will always accept it full on strait to the point no matter what. I put myself only in the positions and environment where taking such advice is only a tool for growth and expanding my knowledge through life. I’ve taken orders from dirt bags because I had too. I’ve taken orders from amazing leaders because I wanted too before I had too. These are the tools that have got me where I am today. I will never be able to describe in words how grateful I am to have been able to serve our country for as long as I did and learn and in turn be able to teach those same very things to those below me. I was often thought to be a person with a “black heart”, . It was more because I didn’t know how to show my hard side but be sensitive at the same time. Shit I didn’t know I was capable of the two together until just this past year. I’m proud of who I am and where I have got and will always continue to work and revisit and be mindful of where and how I’m putting and using my energy. When I came across the below quote, I realized I’m on a good path🙏 and discovering myself more! “If you have been brutally broken but still have the courage to be gentle to other living beings, then you're a badass with a heart of an angel.”-KReeves
