Repost from @ocsheriff “We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of former Sheriff Sandra Hutchins. She led this department for more than a decade with grace, integrity and humility. The positive impact she made on the Orange County Sheriff’s Department and the residents of Orange County will never be forgotten”. Please see Sheriff Barnes’ statement. @ocsheriffbarnes
Posted @withregram • @ocsdk9unit K9 Rex EOW 11-16-20 The Orange County Sheriff’s Department K-9 unit sadly announces the passing of K9 Rex. K9 Rex passed away early Monday morning with his handler at his side. K9 Rex began to show signs of an illness last week and was sent for treatment immediately. He was diagnosed with an aggressive form of pneumonia. K9 Rex showed the true spirit of a warrior and fought until the very end. K9 Rex had only been with the department for five months but that did not stop him from touching the lives of so many. The bond formed between a handler and a working dog cannot be matched. Please keep his handler, Deputy Sean Kalmen, and his family in your thoughts and prayers. We have the line from here.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department and the two @lasdtransit Deputies who were violently ambushed yesterday.

#Repost @lapd.swat with @get_repost ・・・ Over three years ago LAPD SWAT established and hosted the first annual Southern California Hostage Rescue Symposium. Bringing together SWAT teams from around California and establishing the opportunity to train with one another, learn from each other, network, and debrief major incidents. August 29, 2019 the Riverside County Sheriff's Department along with the San Bernadino Sheriff's Department hosted the third annual HRT Symposium. The event was a great success, with nearly 300 hundred SWAT Officers present. To the Officers of the teams that participated, thank you for continuing the tradition. Never stop learning, always keep training, prepare for the fight, and remember the mission.
OCSD SWAT... Interoperability is critical for a successful operation. Constantly training with units within SEB to increase our capabilities. #Repost @ocsdbombsquad with @get_repost ・・・ Explosive breaching drills with @ocsdswat 💥🇺🇸
