Haven’t you heard? In celebration of the RSAF’s 55th anniversary, we’re bringing a huge slice of the excitement and adrenaline to the heartlands for this year’s National Day Parade! As part of the Fly Our Flag segment, the state flag will be flown on two routes around the island. And just for RSAF55, an RSAF55 Island Flypast of 10 aircraft will make their way through the heartlands as well! Guess what? NDP season is here again! As the parade participants begin their rehearsals, here’s a friendly reminder to be mindful of the measures that will be implemented to ensure that rehearsals can take place safely! Starting today, Temporary Restricted Areas (TRAs) will be established on selected days from May to August for NDP-related aerial activities. These will be in addition to the permanent restrictions that are in place for the safety of aircraft and the public. Check out these graphics for more information when the TRAs will be in effect. Congratulations to this year’s Best Air Combat Support Squadron … 111 SQN! 🏆 The Jaegers, who perform the roles of air surveillance and airborne early warning on the G550-Airborne Early Warning aircraft, took home the title with pride. 🫡

“Five. That’s how many times I’ve donated blood. It’s been a tradition of sorts in my family to donate once a year. We believe our small contributions can help others in big ways, and in this case, save lives. I think it’s great that the #RSAFCares campaign this year brought the opportunity for me to do this yearly tradition alongside many of my fellow trainees who have also seen the value in donating blood! Back when I first decided to donate, I think my first instinct was to think about the pain or the needles. But now that I’ve done this a few times, I can say that the pain wasn’t as bad as I thought! Next up, we have this year’s Best Control Squadron, 201 SQN! 👏🏻 Known as the Roadrunners, 201 SQN operates the Air-Land Tactical Control Centre, and is the only control squadron in Participation Command.

A warm welcome to PANG KOOPSUDNAS (Commander, National Air Operations Command), Air Marshal (AM) Tonny Harjono. Earlier today, AM Tonny called on Chief of Air Force, MG Kelvin Khong and had professional exchanges during his visit to Air Defence and Operations Command (ADOC), reaffirming the close bilateral relations between ADOC and KOOPSUDNAS. The Phoenix Warriors from 143 SQN have done it once again by clinching the Best Fighter Squadron award in this year’s Best Unit Competition. The victory marks the squadron’s fourth consecutive win. Congratulations to all 143 SQN personnel! 📸: LCP Timothy Khor and PTE Victor Zhu

We recently concluded our participation in Exercise Pacific Griffin 2023, held in Guam and its surrounding waters, alongside the Republic of Singapore Navy and the United States Navy! During the exercise, our personnel conducted a series of sea-air missions with a S-70B Seahawk naval helicopter embarked on the Formidable-class frigate RSS Tenacious.
