This past Saturday, a crown was placed on my head that I have dreamed of holding since the age of thirteen when I was first presented with the honor of representing the Miss Louisiana Watermelon Festival organization as their Outstanding Teen. Since then, I have grown to love, cherish, and adore everything that the town of Farmerville represents. I cannot thank every single person enough who made this possible but I am beyond thankful to have this next year as Miss Louisiana Watermelon Festival to give back to this community who has molded me into the young lady I am today. @kaitryanaleinbach, I can only pray to be half the titleholder that you have been over the past four years. You have been such a light and a leader for this community and we cannot thank you enough for your service. I can’t wait to return to serve this town and the people there because each of them hold such a special place in my heart. Here’s to the best next year!!
