Austin, listen up! 👏 👋 Say hello to Chef Pimnapat Chancharoen. As some say, cooking is loving, which is definitely true for Chef Pim. She was born in Thailand, a paradise for food lovers, and went to school for mechanical engineering. She had dreams of becoming a pilot, but she ended up being a chef because her cooking made so many people happy 🙌 🍽️ Chef Chancharoen was inspired by Korean, Japanese, Cuban and Taiwanese chefs, and her unique style reflects this vibrant mix of flavors in dishes like Panang Curry with Chicken and Beef in Spicay Thai Basil Sauce. ❗ She joins us after starting her own food truck in 2018 and opening a ghost kitchen for takeout and delivery in 2021. Give a Texas-sized welcome to Chef Teresa Wilson! 😌 Born in Denver, Colorado, Teresa spent much of her early life traveling throughout the United States—as well as Spain and Japan—until her family settled in Austin 🎓 She received a full scholarship to attend The University of Texas at Austin where she earned her degree in chemical engineering—which, when you think about it, isn’t all that dissimilar from building layers of flavor in a kitchen 🍳 She got her start in the restaurant business in Bill Miller Bar-B-Q’s management program before heading to the other side of the pass, where she established herself as head chef at some of Austin’s most renowned restaurants, including Basil’s, Aquarelle, and Sala & Betty, her most recent venture! 🔥 Introducing Chef David Adan! Chef Adan has cooked French-inspired cuisine for a third of his life, with a deep respect for Japanese cuisine as well. Growing up in a Hispanic household, he learned first-hand how to balance food with all the learnings from his father’s cooking. The traditional recipes from Mexico, which his parents shared with him, bred his love for food ❤️ 😌 Chef David’s promise is to use nutritious ingredients to create meals that surprise and delight his clients. You can see this in his Southwest, French-inspired dishes like Grilled Flank Steak with Broccolini and Four Cheese Ravioli with Lamb Ragu. 💪 His mission: To cook food with key sources of vitamins and minerals to fuel and help you throughout the day.

🍰 Celebrate Juneteenth with Chef Miriam Milord's (@bcakeny) Red Velvet Cake!  ❤️ In honor this day, Miriam is launching the Red Velvet Cake — considered to be soul food in the South. The color red is often used in Juneteenth celebrations to remember the lives of Black ancestors before emancipation, as it honors those who did not have the opportunity to taste the freedoms of today. 🍽️ This rich red velvet cake — made with deep, dark cocoa and a super moist batter — pairs perfectly with tangy cream cheese-buttercream frosting. Anyone who loves this Southern sweet will appreciate BCake's version and savor every last bite. ✨ Have a #happyjuneteenth, enjoy this cooking demo and learn more about the history of this cake and its meaning!

The daughter of an African American serviceman and a Korean émigré mother, Chef LaMara Davidson’s melding of soul and Korean food comes honestly — it’s what she grew up eating.
