This mother’s day, I surprised my mom with a getaway to @thecharlestonplace! It was our first time in Charleston so we were thrilled the hotel was located right in the heart of downtown. The prime location allowed us to explore the city’s beautiful cobblestone streets, charming boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants by foot. During our visit, the humidity was through the roof so we spent our mornings/early afternoons poolside, enjoying room service and dining at the hotel’s beautiful garden inspired café. Curiosity led me to stroll by the @beaconhillhotel countless times during their renovation, eager to see how it would turn out. The result: a tasteful and colorful 14-room boutique hotel with eye-catching art sourced from galleries on Newbury Street. Every room in the property is completely unique, and I was fortunate enough to have a balcony in mine overlooking the ever charming Charles street. The property also has a common roof deck and a restaurant on the first floor serving an incredible breakfast and dinner (will have to come back for lunch and brunch and report back).
