They say, Some days are diamonds & some days are rocks, yesterday I was feeling a little less jazzed about a a couple things. I made use of my time brooding & chopped some onions. & then, your visits turned my frown upside down, Thank you to so many of you for being so so wonderful, it was delightful to see both old and new friends w/ happy faces. Thank you from the bottom of my cold emotionless heart. I feel a little bit better & now we have more beef and duck broth onion soup w/ gruyere & sourdough. Today, I will attempt to take a better picture.

So.. what do we call 2 brisket quarter pounders w/ cheese & bacon on a home made brioche bun @onionscarrotscelery ? I really thought the video would distract from my inability to take good photos, you be the judge Or just come visit & try one for yourself :)

This is what we affectionately call combo a. It’s a porkbelly & brie benedict on sourdough & A Lobster Florentine Benedict, also on our sourdough with soft little jiggly poached eggs This morning is amazing and so are you, adding a combo of awesome to the equation isn’t the worst idea I’ve ever had. Write a caption... I am here! We are Open. What do I do when I’m not here? Over the last 4 days; the truck broke down so we were largely housebound. I made soup. I put a good dent into at least 13 questionable books, I read fast but I like to read a handful of them at a time so that I don’t get too invested in any of the characters unless the books are actually good. I bought enough clothes that once I wash them, you can see a brand new outfit everyday until at least, the end of the year. So here I am, just a girl asking you to love her, even if it’s just in a detached sort of way that we only meet for brunch.

Yesterday, I picked up Jessica Simpson’s autobiography from the thrift shop for a dollar, Eryn questioned, why? Truth is I don’t know, it’s like putting hollandaise on potatoes, or pairing animal prints w/ glitter. I felt I needed to. So, this is your final warning, I now officially have plans & will not be here to open the restaurant this weekend. I will be expanding my mind beginning w/ the title which reads like directions ‘open book’ Last chance for your thanksgiving hugs is today!

Please note, we are open today & tomorrow but not open this weekend for Thanksgiving! This morning, we received a truly delightful voicemail inquiry: ‘is that all you f***** got?’ Yes sir, that is I’ve got to tell you today! Hope to see you!

In case you missed it, there is a brand new tomato, mozzarella & basil pesto on the board & you only have a limited number of days this week to get your thanksgiving hug! 🤗 We are open today, Thursday & Friday from 8 am -2pm but won’t be open on the weekend for thanksgiving!

So we will all be taking our second annual thanksgiving weekend w/ our families! We are open today until 2 pm & then this week: Open Wednesday October 4 through Friday October 6th 8 am -2pm Not open: next weekend Sat & Sun Oct 7/8 for Thanksgiving!
