Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Sanja Mateeva @mateevas

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am from Skopje, Macedonia. I work as a freelancer on many projects and study programming at a Macedonian University. I love traveling, fashion, nice food, fitness, and dancing.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My posts are mostly pictures of me, but I also like to post beautiful landscapes and some nicely cooked food (not made by me). I also post dance videos and anything I find interesting.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Actually, it comes from my last name and the first letter of my first name is added at the end – mateevas.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I don’t like to edit my photos, I usually use good cameras and make sure to catch everything perfect as it is. After that, I add filters and edit them.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I like stylefriques.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

It’s gonna be starngage of course. 🙂

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Well, I haven’t really made any official money as an influencer, but if I do become one I would say that the favourite part would be just being me, and being creative in my own way while earning money.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

My top tip would be to choose the influencers appropriate to their niche. I maintain authenticity by being me and sticking to my principles and vision.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

There is so much fake content on the internet and people see that. So, it would be best to choose the people that are recognized for their authenticity and their influence on other people.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

That I have the freedom to promote them in my own way.
