1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

All call me Maleen.I’m 16 years old,a student residing in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia and more of a lifestyle blogger.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Mostly about the things revolving around me.I watch beauty videos but I don’t do them.I post sceneries and myself goofing around with Snapchat because I do believe that social media is not a place for hypocritsy.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My Instagram name come about from my own name which is Nur’ Ain Maleen Balqish,so I just take my two last names which is Maleen Balqish.Ironically,my friends call me Maleen while my family calls me Balqish.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I usually go natural with my photos because Apple camera rocks,but to lighten up a darker photo or shading what should be shaded,I use VSCO Cam.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I really love @faafirds and @princessmeenie! Faafirds’s hijab style is super duper easy that I can follow with her great tips on beauty while Princessmeenie’s fashion sense really inspires me as a modest hijabi.Plus,they’re both funny!

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Give islands a go for holiday!It’s really amazing how they take your breathe away from day 1 until your time to check-out.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Got to try new things!I was RWG’s Blogger before and they let me go to their launching events exclusively so that’s my favourite part of being an influencer.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

1)Let people be aware of your existence
2)Let people try/have a sneak peek of your product and does it work/nah.Don’t be afraid of giving free samples to people as we know how to judge.The income will come back to you.
3)Engage your brand with the society.Organize charity events and more!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

1)Be freaking honest.If your product can cause itchiness/acne for first timers or anything,DO STATE THEM.Don’t let people spread the news around saying their face/body becomes worse to other people and you’ll be doomed.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Trying new things like how I’ve stated before.A range of choices and developing new products that’s convienient for me and spread the goodness to the people around the world!
