1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

I am a 21 year old living in Miami, FL with a massive love for fashion and all things beautiful. Currently I’m a junior in college studying Hospitality Event Management, working at a clothing boutique, and expressing my love for fashion through blogging over at ONIBYM.COM.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Fashion and travel, of course! I always post daily outfits, places I’ve traveled to, and any new products I am currently in love with. Occasionally you’ll catch some pics of my favorite little pup Benji, a 2 year old pomeranian.

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

I decided to keep my Instagram name simple and just use my first and last name, BUT, my blog name ONI ByM is one I get tons of questions about. What does it mean? I have no clue, lol! But Oni is my mom’s nickname that her cousins gave her when they were younger. My parents loved it so much that they decided to give it to me as my middle name. I love it because it’s unique and I have never heard any like it!

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I am all about aesthetics, so keeping an all white theme on my Instagram is what I always go for. I keep it simple with my editing because too many filters can get your photos to look grainy so I stick to Facetune, my go to for Instagram editing. Facetune allows you to brighten and whiten your photos.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

Yes! You will always see Lydiaemillen on my suggested search. She is a UK blogger that inspires me the most because of how genuine she is. She creates beautiful content and her style is absolutely impeccable.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Recently on Instagram I have been raving about my holy grail face moisturizer. First Aid Beauty’s Ultra Repair Cream works miracles and is perfect for sensitive skin.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love that I can inspire people to try new things, introduce them to fashion trends, and just make the slightest impact on them positively. If I can make someone smile, I am more than gratified.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Know who you’re reaching out too. I think this is important because you want to know who will be sponsoring your product or service. Get to know your influencers just like they get to know you!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

There are so many Instagram influencers and bloggers now a days. I can’t stress enough how important it is to be yourself. This is was makes you different and stand out from the rest. I use to struggle with trying to figure out how to produce ‘quality and original content’ but the answer was in me all along. Simply, be yourself.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

It’s important to only partner with brands you support and genuinely love. I love knowing that I am helping out a brand that I personally love and being able to share it with my readers.
