Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Liana DeGeorge @lianawhoo

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Liana, I’m 24 years old. Half Ukrainian half Russian. I went from living in California my whole life to rebelling against everything I knew and moving to South Beach Miami at 21 years old. About 2 years later I met Mike (my now husband.) Who I swear to this day was my angel sent from the heavens above to save me from that insane Miami lifestyle. We are now living in a cute little town called Jupiter…oh and I’m 38 weeks pregnant! We are waiting for our baby girl Luna to arrive any day now!!!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

My life has changed DRAMATICALLY in the last 2 years. I went from that popular crazy party girl posting half naked photos in Miami, to now being a married woman and mommy to be. (I prefer it this way) I was pretty popular on Instagram before because of the crazy content I posted. But then I met Mike and started getting more attention. (More respected attention) It all started from the photos we took traveling the world, to the videos Ive created that inspired many people. I noticed women especially started looking up to me, they saw my life unfold from living one way to a complete other way. Everything in the last 2 years just happened so quickly, Mike proposed to me within a year of knowing each other, and then we got pregnant 3 months after that. We are officially “married” because we wanted to bring our daughter into this world as husband and wife, however our big wedding celebration is happening in May! =)

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

Great question and I have to be honest, I have no idea.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I try not to edit too much, but Im not going to a lie, I’m a sucker for “FaceTune.” A little teeth whitening and smoothing of the body never hurts 😉
I also like using “Faded” just because they have some great filters to enhance your photo.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I loved following Alexis Ren & Jay Alvareez because of their amazing photos and videos in all these cool locations but lets have a moment of silence since they are no longer together =(

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Don’t use your social media for a day and see how it makes you feel. If you are uncontrollably shaky and anxious, you are indeed an addict lol

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I love when I get personal messages letting me know my life has inspired them or when I have messages asking for advice. I love talking to people and feeling like I was able to help someone.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

Don’t just attract a “certain look” of people that can use your product.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

Just be yourself and create ways to stand out! Like if you’re into fashion, don’t just take a photo up against a white wall pretending like you’re walking, thats been done. Somehow figure out ways to show off your fashion in what you actually do in your everyday life.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

Gives exposure to both parties. Not to mention Im able to get tons of free things and fall in love with products I would have never known about if it weren’t for Instagram!
