Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Kyle Sperle @KyleSperleMusic

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Kyle Sperle, and I’m from Savage, MN, a suburb just south of the Twin Cities.
I am a Musician/Artist/Producer/Engineer/Songwriter/Composer furthering my education at Minnesota State University Moorhead pursuing a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Music Industry with a minor in Entrepreneurship.
I just released a new single titled “GreatOrGood” that can be found here: http://www.soundcloud.com/kylesperlemusic/greatorgood
I’m also releasing my debut project mid-August. Be on the lookout for that!

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

Music is definitely the number one love of my life. I post photos of me working in the studio, set-ups of live gigs that I do production for, and promotional content regarding my latest musical releases. I’m definitely not the right person to follow if you don’t like music!

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My name is Kyle Sperle and I want to be an icon in the Music Industry. KyleSperleMusic just makes sense.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use the Tile Pic app to section off my pictures. This allows for me to make one image three different images. This boosts my likes, creates more content with one image, and gives my Instagram profile a professional feel.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

I’m all about the aesthetics of a users account. DJ Mustard as a dope page. ASAP Ferg also has a nice profile.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

Using hashtags to your benefit. This creates meta data which will build your target audience. Don’t use a hash tag just to use it. Make sure it’s meaningful. Something that people are actually searching for.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

Knowing that I’m able to better someone else’s life with the experiences that I’ve had in my own. It’s a good feeling.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

You have to be genuine. People like to be talked to like human-beings rather than robots. Social media is meant to be social. Imagine that!

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

If you’re not posting original content than you shouldn’t be posting. Your social media profile should be an extension of you. People want to be a part of your life, not a part of someone else’s life through your eyes. Also, quality over quantity. One good post is better than 10 lame ones.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

The cross-promotion that happens. Both parties are set-up to gain something, and that’s a beautiful thing.
