Instagram Influencer Spotlight On: Cynthia M Blanco @cinthiolita

1) Tell us a little about yourself. What are you doing now and where do you come from?

My name is Cynthia and I’m 22 years old. I’m currently working in a media agency and I was born and raised in NYC. I’ve lived here my entire life and don’t plan on moving for a while though I do enjoy travel.

2) What are your topics of interest? What do you post on Instagram the most?

I am super passionate about fashion and lifestyle. I’m the biggest foodie and I love trying new things. I instagram regularly about my life, my friends, the people who love and suppor me (with a few occasional selfies in the mix).

3) How did your Instagram name come about?

My grandma – she calls me that all the time and I needed something cool, funny, but different.

4) What are some apps you use to edit your photos? Share with us your photo-editing routine!

I use FOTOR all the way, I loooooooooooove it. I’m not a fan of pictures that look too edited so this helps me enhace my pictures without making them look fake.

5) Any Instagrammers whom you really like? Which Instagrammer inspires you the most?

There are a few street bloggers I love, but most recently I go to @sincerelyjules for inspiration.

6) If there’s one thing your fellow Instagrammers just gotta try now, what’s it gonna be?

My favorite concealer, the shape tape concealer from Tarte. Those are the best $24 I’ve ever spent.

7) What’s your favorite part about being an influencer?

I really like to be authentic and share with people things I generally try or buy. Although I’m trying to enhance my personal brand, it is important for me to remain true to self. I don’t want my FRIENDS or followers to ever think I’m promoting something I’m not using or trying, OR even believe in.

8) What are some of your top tips to brands for running campaigns? How do you maintain authenticity?

I would say a top tip is to try to organically advertise. Don’t use influencers as a banner to feature your product, integrate the product into their lifestyle. Also, trusty the influencer. We know what works best on our profiles.

9) What would your advice be on the importance of quality and original content?

SUPER IMPORTANT. Regramming some things are okay, but don’t steal content. People can tell that just gives you bad street cred.

10) What do you like best about partnering with brands?

I love trying new things. I love being able to experiment and share with my following the new products rolling out.
