I found a cheap flight into Paris and then just guessed at which town I would go to. I knew I wanted to check out the South of France 🇫🇷 and as always I’m pleasantly surprised. Montpellier is gorgeous. Very clean with quaint little streets that remind me of Florence Italy. I stayed in a local hostel in city center and it worked out great. There’s nothing like being open to all of the opportunities in life. The past year by necessity I had to go on the road to try and save my company after #Apple tricked me into giving away over 5 Million dollars of my App to promote the release of their latest iPhone with a “Promise” of a feature. Fast forward to #Lightricks magically releasing my exact app and Apple shadow banning me from the App Store after declining their offer of 10 Million dollars. Lightricks/Pixeloop/ #motionleap has now done tens of millions in sales and I’ve documented the entire story. My fellow Americans!!!!!! Are you awake yet?!? Or are you high and numb on Pharmaceuticals? The press isn’t reporting the actual stories that are coming out of Lahaina. The stories are hard to shake. Fires do happen but something doesn’t feel right here. Our government is shockingly absent in the relief efforts. The locals are coming together like nothing I’ve ever seen. L.I.V.IN. - Thailand 🇹🇭 is a wrap for this part of the year. I ended up spending five months in Thailand between Bangkok, Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and a quick visa run to Cambodia. Now I’m off to explore Turkey and shoot some more content and make some more friends along the way. Of any trip I’ve ever done the time I spent and the friends I made on the island of Koh Phangan was like nothing else I’ve experienced. I call it the vortex. For seven years I’ve been running Plotaverse - PLOTAGRAPH INC and by the time I hit Thailand I was pretty much wiped out by the stress of everything. As of now the servers are still down but just know that help is on the way. It’s just taking way longer than we thought. In the mean time I have the opportunity to pick my Camera back up and make my way around the world 🌎 shooting. Once we get back on our feet the data I’m collecting along the way is invaluable. Instead of sitting in my office and sometimes guessing about what is wanted and needed in our apps I have on the ground experience in many countries.
