📣The San Diego Military Summit is on August 23rd at Admiral Baker Clubhouse! Captain Dwight "Woody" Clemons, Chief of Staff for Commander, Navy Region Southwest, will kick off our all-day interactive event! 👉About Captain Clemons: Captain Clemons graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. He became an Electronic Countermeasures Officer (ECMO) in the EA-6B Prowler after completing training with VAQ-129 "Vikings" in 1997. In 2020, he took on the role of Naval Base Coronado Executive Officer and then became the Commanding Officer in 2021. Currently, Captain Clemons serves as the Chief of Staff for Commander, Navy Region Southwest. He has logged over 2,600 flight hours and 650 carrier-arrested landings in the EA-6B Prowler and EA-18G Growler. His accomplishments include multiple prestigious decorations and awards.
