The White-Tailed Eagle, the largest and rarest bird of prey in the UK and Europe was selected as the emblem for the Premium Vintage line.    The Ecru Eagle celebrates this magnificent, unique and endangered raptor which symbolises the essence of elevated, specialised, and exceptional products that the Premium Vintage collection represents.

Introducing our Premium Vintage collection, which embodies a commitment to heightened quality, meticulous attention to detail, and a deep appreciation for fine craftsmanship in clothing.   The season’s heavy white washes introduce both colour and texture, taking inspiration from the great expeditions into Antarctica that explored the unknown and vast snowy landscapes.   Throughout this collection, military-inspired elements and silhouettes remain authentic, offering protective outerwear, utilitarian cuff details, and sturdy knitwear designed to prepare you for the challenges of the elements.

Meet Oriana Pundt…   After suffering a serious injury, Oriana joined us on our Kits for Clubs photoshoot while undergoing physio to ensure a full and quick recovery.   Coming back from a dislocated knee 3 months ago was always going to be a lengthy process, and it highlighted the importance of grassroots football to Oriana. Despite wondering “How am I going to cope without football?”, she was able to rely on the support of her teammates, who have become close friends over the years, to get through the tedious but important months of physio.    After 3 months watching from the sidelines, Oriana made a blissful return to the pitch last Sunday, successfully managing to get herself straight back on the score sheet.

Meet James Samways…   Another hero of grassroots football featured in our Kits for Clubs campaign shoot.   James is a central midfielder, who plays for “a small village club, formed in 1907, punching well above their weight”. When describing what football means to him, he said the following:   “Football for me is such a beautiful sport; but it’s not just a sport, it’s a community that brings people together. Football allows me to be myself. It allows me to put all the everyday worries in life behind and express my true character out on that pitch. It allows me to be me.”   What does football mean to you?

Meet Tora Northman...   Tora featured in our Kits for Clubs campaign shoot as a hero of grassroots football herself.   Upon relocating from Hong Kong to London, Tora initially believed she would never have the opportunity to participate in football again due to the challenge of finding a suitable, local club. When she found a local team, she was happy to “play anywhere on the pitch” to get back playing the sport she loved.   “Football means everything to me. It sounds so cliché, but it is a sport that transcends culture and language, and builds community. I’ve grown up all over the world, and I’ve always been able to find common ground with people through football. It also means bonding with my dad, who has always been a huge fan of the sport, and started playing with me as soon as I could walk. Now, it also means making the sport more accessible for women, from grassroots to professional level.”

Our new Script Embroidery collection develops and modernises a former favourite in the Lyle & Scott product range.   A versatile and timeless element in fashion, the embroidered lettering of our brand name adds a touch of elegance, texture, and personalisation to the garments.

The golden eagle was introduced in the 1960’s but up until this point, the sign off to all garments was the reference to the brands name. That alone was a signal of trust, craft and quality. Going back to these principles, we have introduced the Lyle & Scott Script collection for Autumn 23, executed with high quality, subtle embroidery. Did you know that to this day, we still offer an in house embroidery service, based in Scotland, and available to all golf accounts? The script has been been taken from the 1990’s and in keeping with our message of “good work, makes more work”, we have utilised our Essentials collection as a base.
