⚗️experimenting in the lab/kitchen/creative brain space today and i’m thinking about the lessons fermentation can teach us about connection and fluidity. the process of fermentation calls for a breaking down, a repurposing, a series of shifts that takes place in menstruum (in this case water), which functions as a liminal space for action 💧🕸 while playing around with a fermentation process in relation to #Tepache today, im also thinking about the importance of breaking things down to get clear on what should be built back up, what is revealed when we break things apart, and the constructive possibilities of what may look like destruction for some. this shifting, destroying 🌪 creation process encourages chemicals to be released and mix with one another -—> encouraging processes of fluidity allows for deeper connection and exchange 🍍 when im feeling stuck, and aching for connection, i will remember this lesson to lean into the breakdown and allow myself to blend with what i find there ... #HappyTuesday ☀️♾
