An year later, you show up asking for another chance and here I am thinking if you've come all this way just to walk away again? When you left saying you had other plans in life than to commit to someone you're afraid you wont be able to do justice to, it took me 4 months to accept that you're actually gone and 4 more to pull myself up from the bed every morning convincing on my own that I can live with or without you. Do you have any idea how it feels to keep a knife hanging near your throat and each time I take your name it cut me a little deeper everyday? But I always had faith that you're going to realise someday what you've left behind. Not me. But the relationship we had which people envied. The bond we shared that never needed anyone else around. That how beautiful it was to get lost in each other every single time we met and say goodbye at the airport hoping to meet asap. Only, last time, you promised you'd come back soon and you never did. So, today as you stand with a ring in your pocket, asking me to marry you, to live an entire life with you, I am not sure if I can trust you enough. Make me believe that this time, you won't walk away again leaving me behind like the least of your priority when the slightest of inconvenience occurs in your life again.
