Instead of numbers, I put arrows which tell Yedhant the direction in which he’s supposed to jump. I encourage him not to step on the lines of the boxes too. Here are some benefits of playing hopscotch: ➡️ Encourages movement: Jumping is a very beneficial physical activity for kids. ➡️ Improves balance: Hopping and landing properly helps kids balance better. ➡️ Body control: As kids focus on how to jump and land, it helps them to control their body movements. ➡️ Builds strength: Hopping and jumping builds core strength. The ingredients that I use for these two soups are the best local ingredients loaded with truckloads of nutrients and benefits. Let’s make them. 1. Fresh turmeric soup ✨Ingredients - • Fresh raw Turmeric (washed and peeled) - 2 inches • Ginger (washed and peeled) - 2 inch • Garlic - 5-6 cloves • Star Anise - 2-3 • Cinnamon - 1 inch • Cloves - 2-3 • Mace - a pinch • Black Pepper powder - 1/2-1 tsp • Onion, chopped - 1 • Carrot, pumpkin, yellow bell pepper, chopped - 1.5 cup • Juice of 1 Lemon • Salt as per Taste • Fresh Coriander, finely chopped • Oil - 1 tsp • Vegetable stock or water - as required (I used 1.5-2 cups) • Salt • Dry Roasted seeds - 1 tbsp Process - 1. Wash, peel and chop the pumpkin, carrots and bell pepper. 2. Heat a pressure cooker. Add oil and the spices. Let them infuse for 1 minute 3. Add the turmeric and ginger. Saute for 2-3 minutes. 4. Add in the onion and vegetables and saute well for 8-10 minutes. (when the veggies slightly cook down, the soup will be more flavourful) 5. Add the Stock or water, mace, pepper and Salt. Close the lid. Either simmer for 10 minutes or pressure cook for 1-2 whistles on high flame. 6. Blend it once cool. Add some stock and simmer for 1 boil. 7. Garnish with coriander and seeds.
