This is the first Michelin restaurant in Cyprus. When I was approached by a wonderful and incomparable very successful developer George, the conversation turned out to be very short: «I’m opening a Michelin restaurant, waiting for you today. You have to create a miracle.» This is how successful people are doing business. Briefly and clearly. It was decided to organize a restaurant in the most advantageous location of the new Cap St Georges hotel and resort, a small room with an already made kitchen and decorated with expensive marble (500 euros per square meter). And it was the marble in such a quantity that I did not like it at all. The room resembled a huge bathroom. «It is not clear to the visitor that this is a very expensive marble, all they see is that it is not cozy» — that what I told. In general, right from the threshold, I said that we would cover all this stone with wood. The clients were shocked. But after the first sketches, they softened a bit, but didn’t like the first sheftable concept. I continued my attempts and the second concept completely fit. So, in just a month, contractors completed MDF wall panels with lighting and brass moldings, shelving and upholstered furniture. The stage and part of the glazing were decorated with a screen made of brass and red plexiglass. The furniture is all unique made for us from the best Italian leather. In general, luxury style is in every detail. The restaurant has received three Michelin stars in its first month of work, and is in great demand. So the reserve is so packed with local and visiting oligarchs that I haven’t visited it yet.

Each room in this apartment is unique, but thanks to the repetition of selected decorating techniques in all rooms, the interior looks harmonious and unified. And the leitmotif of the project was palm leaves, which in one interpretation or another are found in the dining room, and in the bedroom, and in the study, and in the bathroom.

Modern Art Deco

A cozy Swahili restaurant with a special atmosphere has long existed on the coast of the village of Peyia. The center of the open-air establishment, from where you can admire the beautiful sunset, is an ancient well. It is located in the historical ancient zone, which is not subject to reconstruction, and where capital construction is prohibited. Therefore, restaurant visitors seem to be transported in time, falling into antiquity. Fragments of walls made of local stone emphasize the flavor of this historical place. The entrance designed as a portal made of wood and reeds. It is complemented by lamps with wicker lampshades of various shapes, giving a pleasant warm light. For space zoning, Maria Green designed an original reed fence. Sheds over the tables and a DJ stand, illuminated around the perimeter with an LED strip, are decorated in the same technique. And black fountain portals act as art objects, from which water flows spectacularly.

Los Angeles Hotel Design The interior of the hotel lobby in Los Angeles is eclectic and multifaceted, and carries the unique charm of the City of Angels. In the design of a mosaic ceiling in the style of Constructivism, made in golden terracotta shades, the traditional techniques of Mexican painting are seen. Wooden panels also add ethnic notes to the decor, but in combination with black gloss, this finish looks trendy and relevant. But the panel illuminated by LEDs from a natural onyx of an amber hue is a reference to the dream factory, where chic and glamor rule. Mirror and golden details also reinforce the glamorous features in the setting: ceiling cornice, door frames, wall panels.

A cozy and slightly nostalgic autumn palette, an unusual fireplace in the partition, the glitter of gold – the details of romantic modernity and catchy art deco were organically intertwined in the townhouse interior. The result is a unique interior that impresses with its luxurious finishes and original details. Classic wall techniques have helped to streamline the space and create the perfect background for decorative onyx panels, dark marble panels and fireplaces. Furniture items, lamps and old gold colored decor have added luxury and sophistication. There are no random details in this interior, and the author’s stained-glass windows in the spirit of Art Nouveau became the main decoration of the project. The porthole window transformed the hall and made a wonderful stylistic duet with a wrought-iron staircase. Glass kitchen cabinets doors and transom windows in the living and dining room are also in the style of Art Nouveau.
