Please pray for my dear friend, Mark Crosby. He was viciously attacked yesterday, May 26, 2023 while he was praying in front of Planned Parenthood in Baltimore City. He and another prolifer were attacked from behind and the thug ran away. Mark is currently in the hospital being treated for the serious injuries he sustained. Please pray that Mark makes a full recovery and that the thug that did this to him is found and dealt with swiftly. TO DONATE: https://gofund.me/39a041d5 📣 UPDATE & JUST FYI: These people that pray in front of abortion facilities also hand out informational material to women in crisis pregnancies. The informational material includes where the women can go for FREE resources to help them financially through their pregnancy and afterwards. It also includes information about FREE PRO-LIFE clinics and pregnancy centers that can help these pregnant mothers. It also has information about adoption and free resources to find out how these pregnant women can still choose LIFE for their unborn children and be helped through the whole process for free. If Planned Parenthood or any other abortion facility truly wanted to give women options, they would provide this information but instead they NEGLECT to provide this valuable information to pregnant women that can still choose LIFE. Abortion facilities take advantage of vulnerable women when they are desperate by pushing them to abort their unborn children and neglecting to offer prenatal care or any pregnancy assistance. That is why it’s so important to help women in crisis pregnancies understand they have free options available to help them CHOOSE LIFE and not kill their unborn children. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. This weekend, the Church celebrates Pentecost, one of the most important feast days of the year that concludes the Easter season and celebrates the beginning of the Church. In the Christian tradition, Pentecost is the celebration of the person of the Holy Spirit coming upon the Apostles, Mary, and the first followers of Jesus, who were gathered together in the Upper Room. A “strong, driving” wind filled the room where they were gathered, and tongues of fire came to rest on their heads, allowing them to speak in different languages so that they could understand each other. It was such a strange phenomenon that some people thought the Christians were just drunk — but Peter pointed out that it was only the morning, and said the phenomenon was caused by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit also gave the apostles the other gifts and fruits necessary to fulfill the great commission — to go out and preach the Gospel to all nations. It fulfills the New Testament promise from Christ (Luke 24:46-49) that the Apostles would be “clothed with power” before they would be sent out to spread the Gospel. It wa right after Pentecost that Peter, inspired by the Ho his first homily to Jews and other non-, in which he opened the scriptures of the Old Testament, showing how the prophet Joel prophesied events and the coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost. He also told the people that the Jesus they crucified is the Lord and was raised from the dead, which “cut them to the heart.” When they asked what they should do, Peter exhorted them to repent of their sins and to be baptized. According to the account in Acts, about 3,000 people were baptized following Peter’s sermon. Via @catholicnewsagency #CatholicConnect #Pentecost #Catholic
