Brandon Berkson, founder of @hotelsabovepar, an expert-curated guide highlighting the world’s best boutique-style hotels and travel experiences, recently visited New York City’s The Greenwich Hotel for his dream staycation. @TheGreenwichHotel has become a neighborhood gem in TriBeCa since opening its doors in 2008, and in Brandon’s words, his stay at the iconic hotel was made all the more special thanks to his #LeadersClub perks, which provided an upgrade to a corner suite with views of the Hudson River. But if I had to pick one, It would be the two appetizers we ordered: the American Burratini and Peekytoe Crab. 🛎️ Best Part of Your Stay: The hotel’s verdant courtyard is truly a NYC oasis; one where you can sit down, order a coffee, and soak up the surrounding atmosphere, from the walls dressed in green vines to the sunlight spilling in from above. 🛎️ Favorite Leaders Club Perk:The upgrade to one of their corner suites: spacious quarters, expansive windows with views of TriBeCa and the Hudson River, white-marble bathroom, handsome furniture, and attention-grabbing art (I loved the blue bullhead protruding from one of the walls). 🛎️ A Greenwich Hotel Stand-out Detail: Other than the courtyard, I’ll have to say the indoor pool. It feels private and exclusive, all the while appearing aesthetically pleasing. 🛎️ Neighborhood Discovery: One of my favorite parts of TriBeCa is that it’s home to Bubby’s, which serves some of the city’s best brunch. Heed my advice when I suggest that you order Nutella, Mixed Berries & Whipped Cream Pancakes. 📸 @locandaverde
