IASAQ Mother's Group: For some Mothers, especially those that are living on the other side of the world from their families, connecting with others who are going through similar experiences - like sharing concerns, triumphs or disasters - can offer an instant support network ☘️ What’s more, the group can help your mental health! A study led by The University of Western Australia found a link between mothers who were involved in a local parent group and positive mental wellbeing. Our IASAQ Mother's Group is the perfect network to offer support 🇮🇪 Some of the benefits include: - Making social connections with other Irish parents. - Offering a platform to share experiences, ask questions, and offer advice. - It’s not all about the tea and chats (although it plays a big part it) IASAQ offers educational resources for both parents and babies, and we’ve had a number of guest speakers along with partnering with @grow_au and @firstfiveforever - It’s a bit of craic! Come along and meet other Irish parents, form new friendships and ease the load a bit. When someone asks what we’ve been up to the past month 😂 It’s been extraordinary hosting @irelandfootball in Brisbane over these past few weeks. The team have reshaped how Women’s professional sport is viewed, and have become icons for young girls and boys alike. AIDA QLD was formed in 1973, and the first offical Irish Dancing Queensland State Championships were held at the Ascot State School in 1974. Congrats to everyone involved, and all the volunteers who have grown, championed and continued a brilliant legacy of Irish dancing in Queensland, special mention to the teachers and students 🇮🇪 IASAQ were delighted to celebrate this milestone with you all. Learn action rhymes and songs that will help your child’s pre-literacy, communication, language, and social skills.
