Months of planning - and in this case years - coming together to create the most magical scenes. Like Grandma’s house - everyone grab a chair! I love how someone described this scene recently on instagram. That’s exactly the vibe we were aiming for. Comforting and cosseting to ease those morning after hangovers, and a surprising change-up to the elegant vibes the day prior. By no means an easy task and what you don’t see behind the scenes is the midnight deliveries and teams beavering away to make this happen. But that’s the beauty of events - the magic unfolds in the background and you’re just left thinking wow, how did they do this?😉 For Melissa and Matthew’s hangover brunch The Herb Kitchen cooked up a delicious storm whilst Two Fingers Drinks Bloody Mary bar welcomed guests with a selection on offer including the Classic Mary, a Reposado Tequila Bloody Maria, and our grooms favourite the BBQ Mary with a fire-grilled Shrimp garnish. Sunday brunch is always our favourite event of a multi-day wedding weekend. AND THEN IT WAS TIME TO PARTY ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ After a postponement and many more challenges along their wedding planning journey, our couple were more than ready to let their hair down and party the night away. Guests had no idea what awaited them in the after-party marquee, hidden in the gardens. After the ceremony the rain held out long enough to enjoy drinks in the incredible gardens of the family home, so lovingly tended by the Grooms Mum and her expert team of garden designers. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Guests enjoyed delicious ‘from the fire’ canapés by The Herb Kitchen, the salt and pepper squid cooked over the Asado grill was a firm favourite.
