I grabbed all the ingredients to make this recipe at my local @metroontario, a one-stop shop for sustainable seafood & quality products to help you “Feed the Joy” with delicious food this holiday season. find the full recipe below & at metro.ca. enjoy!!! • 16-18 large shrimp, peeled and deveined • 1 large egg, beaten • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs • 1 tsp garlic powder • 1 tsp onion powder • sea salt + black pepper to taste • 3 tbsp tamari • 2 tbsp honey • 1 tbsp sesame oil • 2 tsp cornstarch • 1 clove garlic, finely minced • 1 tsp garlic sauce (or to taste) • chives + sesame seeds, for topping whisk the egg in one bowl and mix panko breadcrumbs with spices in another. dip each piece of shrimp into the egg first, then the breadcrumb mixture. place on an air fryer tray and bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they’re crispy and golden brown. add honey, tamari, sesame oil, cornstarch, garlic and chili paste to a small saucepan over medium. cook for a few minutes, stirring, until sauce is thick and glossy. remove from heat. toss the crispy shrimp in the honey sesame sauce & serve with chives and sesame seeds on top as a holiday appetizer. . . . #shrimprecipes #airfryer #airfryerrecipes #seafoodrecipes #airfryershrimp #easyappetizers #holidayappetizers #holidayrecipe #appetizerideas

It's Diwali time! I love sharing special treats with friends and family - especially Indian Street food. But if you know me, I love to put a wholesome spin on it! So I headed to Metro @metroontario to get all my ingredients - they've got a great variety of fresh products, organics, and Indian specialty foods. Today I'm making a salty, savory, and tangy Bhel Puri - I love to load it up with fresh fruits and veggies. Hope you try it at home and enjoy celebrating the season with us. From my family to yours, Happy Diwali 🪔 Find the full recipe below! 1 sweet potato, peeled and cubed 1 potato, peeled and cubed 1 can of chickpeas, rinsed 1 small Spanish onion, diced 1 gala apple, cubed ½ tsp red chili powder 1 tsp salt (or to taste) ¾ tsp of cumin seeds, roasted and crushed ¼ cup tamarind chutney 1 fresh lime, juiced 2 tbsp of roasted peanuts, to garnish (optional) ½ cup of Bhel or Chevado Indian snack arils of a pomegranate, to garnish cilantro leaves, to garnish Boil, drain, and cool the potatoes.  Add them to a large bowl with the apple, onion, and chickpeas. Mix everything well. Add the red chili powder, salt, cumin seeds, lime juice, and chutney. Mix carefully until the ingredients are coated well in the sauce. You *NEED* to make these 7 ingredient, vegan + gluten free homemade snickers bars if you’re looking for a delicious Halloween dessert recipe! They’re made with a chewy no-bake “nougat” base, lots of roasted peanuts, a luscious cashew butter caramel and a dark chocolate coating. I picked up everything I needed for these snickers bars at my local @metroontario store - a one stop shop for all the wholesome ingredients! For the base: ¼ cup cashew butter ¼ cup maple syrup 1 ¼ cups almond flour ¼ tsp sea salt ½ tsp vanilla extract ¾ cup roasted salted or unsalted peanuts For the caramel: ⅓ cup cashew butter ¼ cup coconut oil ¼ cup maple syrup ½ tsp vanilla extract Big pinch of sea salt For the chocolate: 1 bag (approx 1 ½ cups) dark chocolate chips 2 tsp coconut oil To make the base, mix together all ingredients except peanuts until you have a thick dough. Press firmly into a lined loaf pan, then sprinkle with peanuts and press them down lightly. Place in the freezer. Make your caramel by combining all ingredients in a small saucepan and placing it over medium heat. Let it cook for a few minutes, stirring frequently, until bubbly. Remove from the heat and whisk until smooth. Pour caramel over the base and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours to set. Once set, slice into bars. Melt your chocolate and coconut oil, then dip each bar into the melted chocolate, shaking off any excess. Sprinkle bars with more chopped peanuts and sea salt and place in the freezer for at least 15 minutes to set, then slice and enjoy!
